I love my iPhone! If you are real into technology and such the droids or the galaxy note 2 are real cool. An iPhone is simple, with a bunch of apps and you can't go wrong with it

The battery life of the iPhone is so much better than droids. Now that I have an iPhone I don't think I could go back to droid.

I have the droid Razor M and my battery is awesome. Any phone you get if you're on it all the time it will burn quickly. I've had mine go well over 24 hours without a charge with quite a bit of usage. I had the Iphone 4 before this Droid, now I'm firmly on the droid bandwagon. While the Iphone is simple to use, the droid isn't really complicated either and offers way more customization options. There are millions of Apps on the droid as well.

I have the incredible. It may just be the model. With the exception of the battery, I really like it.

Android if you want to customize your phone. Apple if you want them to take over your world. Only apple approved stuff on their devices.
Other than that, its basically Ford vs. Chevy

For me though, I can't do iTunes (or iAnything) because I might not obtain my music the way they want me to...

I have an iphone and love mine as well. I used to be the guy who witched phones and carriers every year or two at most. When I got my iphone that stopped. I'm more than willing to switch to say a Droid or something if I find one that I really like as much, but I haven't. I would say the Galaxy s3 is probably the phone I like the most outside of iPhone. In the end though it simply comes down to how well Apples iOS is made and how seamless my experience on it is. iPhone still has the largest app market. I used to jailbreak it, which is actually quite easy, but haven't found the need to as of late.

And for ThreeF's there... Not a single one of my over 10,000 songs, 1TB of movies, so on and so on were attained they would want me to. Doesn't mean I'm not able to use them. In fact it makes no difference at all.

In conclusion, my vote goes for iPhone, but if you wanted to go Droid I my vote on that side of the house would be fpr the Galaxy S3.

ok, my bad. I know that itunes monopolizes your music or something and that once you have itunes, you can't undo it (or something like that)

EDIT... and THANKS for your service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Appreciate brother.

When itunes first came out, if you bought a song through itunes it was encoded in apples format. Great format as far a quality goes, but yeah, limited it to being played on apple products. Now, you can purchase songs in mp3 without proprietary nonsense and can be played on whatever. I get all my music and such from torrents or friends as mp3's and import them into itunes. They stay mp3, can be played on any device, moved from system to system and from media player program to another with no problem. Simple copy/paste. I like itunes as a whole. If I have any problem with it, it would be that it has become a little bit bloated. I preferred the simpler layout/format of yesteryear. Hell I even have porn video's that I've put onto my itunes so I can have them on my phone lol.

I have not had much recent interactions with other media players as of late such as windows media player and such. So I can not comment on how good they are. I know in the past I prefered itunes, and am just assuming that I probably still will. Hell I've been using it for like 8 years.

I have a Galaxy S3. I like it. It had some issues at first, and it still kind of does. Also, I had an ipod touch for 2-3 years that I truly loved, and it was when it broke that I got the GS3 from Verizon (this is a semi-important fact). I think some of my issues with the phone relate to making the change / differences between the programs. For instance, the Note application on the itouch was perfect, whereas the stock note program on the GS3 was ... quite frankly garbage. I had to download a different one from the store. But once I got the software I wanted on the GS3, it was nice. It has a much better screen and feel than any of the iphone's I've used. Cameras are probably about the same, everything else is more or less the same ALTHOUGH I know my ipod touch had better volume and somewhat better sound system. Don't know if the iphones have the same tech as itouch's, so that might be something to consider (I'm somewhat of a music snob, so this may not matter to you).

I had a droid for about 2 years and then a few months ago got an iPhone. I personally think the iPhone is way better in almost every aspect.

They're a far better device and the only people telling you differently are sheeple that don't have the know-how to run a simple computer.
