I'm only 19 and I'm married. I'm in the army and normally after work my wife and I go work out together. It keeps both of us in shape and we get to spend time together, as opposed to me going and leaving her at home for an extra hour or two a day.

I'm married, my wife fully supports it. The only thing we butt heads on is diet. Until recently she would never follow the same nutrition plan as me. Now that I went Paleo, she's started it as well and has been loving it. Only thing is we try to have more milk and cheese for our son who is 3. He's still growing so we try to make sure he gets every nutrient he needs.

My wife doesn't eat much so its normally not a problem I just ask what she wants for dinner and cook it and serve it to finish my macros. I cook a good bit of red meat as we are both tired of the chicken from when I was cutting.

Not a BB'er, but have been married for 2 years in September. I am, however, shifting towards competitive PL'ing and the wife fully supports my endeavor and my *ahem* usage.

First off let me say my cover (
) is off to you for joining the Marines, heck theilitary in general.
I am also in the Marines and im married. My wife trains and pretty much eats like i do so its actualy very easy to make the two work.
If your wife is ok with it then it shouldnt be an issue. I will say though that if she isnt into working out it may cut into your guys personal time as the military will take up a lot of your time.
Good luck

He's right the military (depending on career) really does take all of your weekdays. And some weekends. Your best bet is to try to get her motivated to lift with you

Married never really was the problem for me. Now that I'm married with kids, there's not enough time in the day. I workout during my lunch break, and sometimes catch hell if I want to work out on the weekends. She would love to go to the gym and run on the treadmill while i workout on weekends, but we still have the kids to take care of.

Married 4 years - my wife is my lifting partner and she's stronger than most guys at my gym and easily the strongest woman there. How does you bodybuilding clash with your married life? She's your wife - your partner in life - why would she not want you to strive to improve your health and physique?

married with kids is far harder to get the time in / want to leave the kids than lifting when married and no kids
well worth it though

Married, no kids though... The wife is totally supportive of my workouts (nudge nudge wink wink), although she was a bit jealous of my results before she got her own plan together & started busting her a$$. Biggest problem for me - diet... Wife's a vegetarian - she'll eat fish & eggs, so that's a bit easier on me, but when I cook I basically have to make 2 different meals

You know spending money on supplements and I try to get her to lift with me but we both work 10 hr graveyard shifts 6 days a week so I normally lift afterwards and she wants to sleep. But I did bring up last night working out together and she like had a differeent mind set like she wanted to give it a try. So idk what happened I think AM somehow had some thing to do with it
lol. But I think her biggest problem with it is I want to be like ronnie coleman one day and she doesn't want that, says its gross lol.

You have to find the bodybuilder that doesn't gross her out. For some reason my wife doesn't think Jay Cutler looks strange but most others do. So im gonna look like Jay Cutler. :P
