Chewing gum causes gas?

  1. Chewing gum causes gas?

From time to time there are threads posted about digestion issues, and with the consumption of large amounts of food/protein/shakes, the question of gas has come up in some of those threads. Honestly, I never even thought about it, but after a conversation today, it made some sense to me. I googled it and found differing opinions, so I figured I would see what folks here thought.

  2. Well, I can tell you that i chew half a pack to a full pack of gum everyday--no gas.

  3. If I have not eaten, then chewing gum does indeed seem to increase the bubbles I have to "get rid of".
