I just received a letter from my Rep. in Congress concerning the supplement ban.
It reads:
Dear Mr. ......
Thank you for contacting me regarding dietary supplements. I appreciate having the benefit of your views.
I certainly understand your concerns with the proposals that could adversely affect the sale of over-the-counter supplements. As a general principle, federal policy should respect the rights of individuals to make their own health care decisions. Should the full U.S. House debate this proposal, rest assured, I will keep your sentiments foremost in mind.
Once again, thank you for contacting me. If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Sincerely,
Kenny Hulshof
Member of Congress
This was dated June 4th, but I just received today(Jun18th). I know the vote was 408 to 3 in favor of the bill, so I would like to know if he voted against it or was just blowing smoke up my ass.
