wash fruit before eating?

really whats the big deal if you don't wash it?
and its not like runing water over it for 5 seconds does anything anyway,
for berries if you can, why not,
but for waxed fruit like pears I don't see what the difference is,
then again I wipe my ass with the escort ads from the villiage voice when I run out of toliet paper.

Well, I wash my fruit before eating it. If you are wiping your ass with escort ads, then you're probably not washing your hands afterwards. Then you go to the grocery store and rummage through the fruit to find what's ripe, leaving several pieces for others to pick. Basically, I'm washing away the grime that other people leave behind. I don't just run water over my fruit, I scrub it down good. May not do anything, but it gives me a little piece of mind.

?? Its just common sense. Who knows where that apple might have rolled before going into your mouth? You should peel the skin of waxed fruit too, can't imagine eating that wax on a daily basis.
