heard em... sound aight.. but you're limiting yourself with fruity loops bro.

I went to school for audio engineering and production.. REASON is where it's at. And reason 5's about to come out, it's gonna stomp every other production software out there. For post production, you can't beat Protools.

The melodies aint bad I like the style but the sounds are overplayed/used, etc.
 
You would seriously choose Reason over Cubase/Sonar + Native Instruments Synth plugins?

The NI synth engines are extremely powerful and versatile. They're not quite as easy to learn as Reason and take some tweaking, but once you get the hang, WOW.
 
I do enjoy sonar... Just don't have as much experience with it as I do with Reason. I myself prefer to have something like an SSL board, with some live drums, or a live bass line and a synthesizer workstation like a motif. But that is just me. That is if I could have the things I wanted. I told my girl, and have said it many times that I could easily spend a million dollars in one day building up a studio.
