2004 Schaeffer Eye Crawfish Boil

I just got back from the boil and it was awesome! I ran into several people that I haven't seen in years. They didn't even recognize me...lol. One guy said there was twice as much of me. That was pretty much what I heard all night. It seems all my hard work is paying off. I ate 2lbs of crawfish that was great. I also met Loretta Nall who is the president of the US Marijuana Party. She is a very informed woman on the political issues regarding the legalization of Mary J. I don't do it but I respect others choice to do so. Anyhow, here are some pics form my night.

Here is me with the three largest Radio personalities in the Northern part of the state I live in. They were super nice and cool. I even had their intern helping me with some things...lol.

This is Smile Empty Soul. One of the better bands at the boil.

This is Finger Eleven. They rocked the hardet. Other bands that were there were: The Rising, Trapt, and Collective Soul.

Looks like a lot of fun. Nothing like that going on where I'm at.

You really eat those water bugs?...LOL! I've never had them before, but would try them if I had the chance. They just don't serve that type of food where I'm at in Ca.

Water bugs...lol. Yeah, they're great. I became fond of them in New Orleans. I only eat their tails. They are like little lobsters. They are a great source of protein. The only bad thing is your hands get more on them than when you eat hot wings. You should try an order of tails if you find a place that serves them.

You got it bro. It's just hot and dry right now. I have a bit of a sore throat from all the dust that people were stirring up. I love hot weather though. You are close to this area aren't you?

Candle, glad you had a good time. We just had our crawfish festival yesterday in south Tx.....unfortunately I didn't go.....stuck at work all day just like today. I did recently go to another 'fiesta' event as we call them here I had crawfish etoufe.....escargo.....frog legs and many other types of foods, man I love fiesta!

Hey I recently saw Smile Empty soul....wasn't very impressed. Now Hatebreed was on the same bill.....they tore it up. Also saw Trapt, Puddle of mudd, Drowning Pool and Damage Plan---- now they rock!

I also just eat the tails.......i don't suck on the crawfish heads.

I'm not a big Smile Empty Soul fan. They were just one of the best form what was there...lol. I paid more attn to the ladies than anything.
