Me wondering if I will die lol.

Honestly though. I have had a headache these last few days, but my blood pressure is fine.

Weird head issue. Pressure, a loud ringing in my left ear which I have had impacted wax in for awhile.

Lost hearing in both my ears for like 5 seconds, over 2 days. Was weird, felt like a rush of pressure then went back.

Lightheaded, vision goes weird.

A constant uncomfortable pressure, and uneasy feeling right in my lower brain.

And I cant afford to go to the doctors.

So sitting here wondering as this thing progresses to be worse and worse, what the outcome will be -,-

I hate America. If its terminal, I am hunting insurance company CEO's

CVS minute clinic? usually costs like $60 or so to get checked out. look for community health centers, usually in somewhat poor banged up towns. if all fails apply for charity care, get on a payment plan etc. good luck brotha

Went to an Urgent care, spent 150$ total counting visit and pills.

here is the kicker, I have to go see an ENT doctor, a specialist...

Now that will hurt.

Essentially the doc things I may have a viral inner ear infection, but is unsure of what is up with me. So I have to go see this guy or girl sometime soon. In the meantime, I am going through hell lol.

sounds like an ear infection to me as well. ringing in the ear, loss of hearing. could be fluid built up back there and got infected. honestly at 23 you shouldnt be at risk for anything too serious, probably strained yourself lifting or just got a simple infection that turned worse. some amox or w/e they gave you should clear it up

Had a Viral Ear infection about 3 years ago. Same sides you are having Brain Freeze headaches that i could pin point on the brain. Constant Ringing in my ears with at times all i could here was the ringing. Ear pain that was the worst pain i have ever felt!. Could not lay on my side because of the pain. Took about 3-5 days on a ear drop medicine and some kind of Medicine pack that lasted 7 days.

Prayers Brotha!!

Acute Sinusitis.
There are cheap OTC drugs that help with symptoms, but you will definitely need an anti-biotic punch the infection out. It will go away on its own, but will likely come back ten-fold.

It all went away though right? This ringing...24/7 for a month...its..its mind numbing.

And yeah ,the pain in the brain, pressure, kinda like blanking out, freezing up, weird stuff...Scary stuff to me.

Doc said if it is viral, something like normal anti-biotics wont help :(

Balance not really. But I do get spouts of vertigo. I never have lost my balance, and I have had many ear infections before.

Honestly it doesnt hurt my ear much, then again weird things happen.

THank you all for your prayers and consultation, I am waiting to see the doc tomorrow and find out when I can see an ENT specialist(hopefully next week, please God).

All I know is day by day its getting harder to even get up, and stay moving. Too much pressure, too tired, too weird feeling.

Sinus and ear infection, really you should have gone to the CVS minute clinic thing. I went last night for basically the same symptoms but a lot milder. Got a generic antibiotic, all said and done less than $80 for the visit and the medicine.

Vertigo is definitely a pretty serious ear infection.

Yeah but the weird thing is, I have had a ton of ear infections and know their every issue...this is the first time it doesnt "hurt" and that I am suffering from temporary hearing loss and a constant ring in my ear(lets say my entire head).

It sucks ducks :(

Plus the doctor didnt see anything up with the ear when looking in there, save for clear wax which are signs of an infection. Yet he believes it is viral, not bacterial.

Dude, dont worry about the money, they'll work with you, I havnt had insurance since '02(self employed) and last week got a BAD infection most likely from a wisdom tooth,

Went to an oral surgeon, got x-rays, got a ct scan, had general anesthesia while getting it drained and a crazy powerfull anti-biotic called Levaquin($250 for 14 pills, this was my choice, he offered a weaker generic but this is the best available) and it cost me around $2600, thats for 4 visits to a specialist, medication, and with what they refer to as "surgery"(the draining was through my neck and was very invasive and required stitches).

Im on a payment plan at around $100 a month, now having insurance during '09 that would have actually covered all the procedures would have been at least $200-250 a month, not to mention a $500-1000 deductable for services. Total cost=approx $3000, if I only had it last year.

I came out fine and got great care and when you say "I dont have insurance", be sure to ask if they can give you any discounts, they did for me and im sure they will for you.

Good Luck

Thanks. THe doc set me up to see an ENT specialist...on the 30th.

So until then, this is getting worse day by day, and I almost feel like I will die before 18 days is up.

Called a friend who is a nurse practitioner. She can prescribe and all that. So I will be seeing her tomorrow, and she is older and maybe can help me out more than abdul obama did.

Another thing, I am not comfortable with the doctor talking in the hallway in a an arabic language...I bet he planted a bomb in my ear... (j/k lol) he seems like a good guy and helped me out(second visit cost nothing).

So see her tomorrow, and then the ENT. God this pressure in my head has to end, I feel like my head will break open any seconds.

Nope, z packs come in 3 (500mg tabs) or 6 (250mg tabs) packs and neither are taken for 7 days. Most likely Biaxin (Clarithromycin). Just fyi ;)

Honestly if it never stopped...I would join the Marines, go on Fast deploy, and get myself killed volunteering for suicide ops...no joke...at least make myself useful on the way out.

I had a lady at our church today look at it who is a Nurse, she called in a prescription for antibiotics. I trust her more than the doctor who's first name is Piyush.

So now I will be getting some meds, that will last me up to the ENT visit on the 30th. Lord willing, I wont need that visit! In fact, I know I wont. This victory is mine!

Funny, 'cause it's from being in the military and from my deployments that I have highly reoccurring ringing in my ears. I feel ya though, it's super annoying.

Sorry to hear that. But yeah being deployed and some of the extensively oversaturated sound conditions can do damage. Plus I know artillery teams often go deaf later in life or have ringing often.

But all I did was wake up one day and it starts building up. I dont even wear headphones unless its my Turtle Beach X1s for my game system. And even then, I keep it low. I'm getting old, loud sounds arent things i like lol.

Unsure what she is exactly, though it is a nurse. I picked up my Rx today. So, it works fine. Gona see if this stuff knocks it out, was a bit pricey but as long as it works.

Well 3 days into the meds, I have had 3 days of blood in my sinuses when I blow it early in the day. The symptoms have gotten worse, my ear even hurt a lil bit. Now I feel pressure in my sinuses, and have felt really bad a few times. Could be it just working though and really bringing hell to the inside of my body.

Ear is still ringing atm, but I feel more stable, and more in control of cognition. Good news though, turns out I have health and dental insurance I had lost track of awhile back. So when I do go to the ENT on the 30th, I will be covered.

Signed up for it through CBS, got it and never had any use for it a long time ago. Plenty of other things going on, and just lost track of it. Found out from my HR rep I have insurance when I was asking about it. I thought I lost it when I lost my last job, apparently it stayed and carried over. Good things. Very crappy insurance, but it will help I guess.

Will look into one of those. Interesting concept.

Too, "incompetent," to be, "professional," on a supplement forum? By you telling others to, "grow up," when you troll the forum complaining about how life has spread scat all over your face... yeah, okay. I can read you; that sentence was structured to make you appear intelligent, but we all know better than that. And if you signed up for insurance and could not remember, or realize that you are paying for it, then I would suggest you check out the definition of, "incompetent."

I was speaking to someone who prefers to follow someone around and bash them for their views in a thread dedicated to seeking advice on health issues.

As for you, you pretty much do the same thing. You have some kind of hardon or who knows what for me. Its creepy. Maybe your someone else's "second" profile or something because your not very original.

AM has good friends of mine, so yes I do come here when I need to talk about the "scat". And with the insurance thing its actually complicatedly simple. I was getting my paychecks direct deposited onto a card, I was paying for insurance. When I lost my last job I canceled that card(it sucked anyways). So then I opened a checking account with chase, and was jobless for a few weeks. Got a new job, and it turns out I still have the insurance. I assumed with the no paying of it, they closed it. And that I was with another job now.

Honestly, you have issues as well. If something in your life has got you pissed, dont take it out on others.

I wont go into your medical thread and start bashing you for being narrow minded for calling people narrow minded, will I? Time and place for things, learn that.

EDIT: I have nothing against rubbering or you, honestly I dont see the reasons for hostility. We disagree on something, but I prefer to leave that issue in that section(thread) and allow other threads to stay on track. Someone like dsade(hope you dont mind me using you lol), me and him have very extreme opposite views, and have butted heads many times... I still respect the guy and think his company makes great products. And he always used very intelligent pieces to argue his points. But as long as I can remember, he will still come into a thread on something and post on topic or even give advice.

Done this whole rodeo before. Your nothing new. But you are seemingly of a lesser quality of what I am used to...

They are great. I find it easier to use the regular saline sinus rinse from the bottle. It's amazing what comes out of there even when using it right after blowing your nose.

I have come across a lot of people at work and around town with bad sinus infections. My brother in law just had one so bad he ended up with not only sinus issues, but an ear infection and a fever. The anti-biotics should help, but rinsing your sinuses out twice a day should do wonders for you.

Hope it clears out for you soon.
