Accutane pulled of market

For those of you who take it or have taken it, its off the market.
I gues sides got to stong, i saw one of those cheap law firm/attorney commercials saying it causes IBD and some other things that i never heard associated with accutane.
The only reason i post is because i know some people here were on it, trying to get it and it's obtainable online through the "specialty" stores.
 
While the brand name Accutane is no longer made, the same drug is still being produced under different names by various companies. Amnesteem is one I've been taking and it's not hard to get at all by prescription.

The sides are none. Don't believe the hype. I've been on it for 5 months now and bloodwork each month has been fine (and I've been socially drinking on occasion). The only sides I've experienced are dryer lips (use chap stick) and a little dryer skin. Lotion takes care of that.

I've been on 80mg a day for the past 3 months too.

The **** works. That's why they want to pull it.
 
^^^^ x2... Been on 2 months now at 60mg a day, and only sides are dry lips and skin.. Does not cause suicidal tendencies... My liver is doing fine on it as well...
 
I needed it for my chest which broke out like crazy last summer. And for my back too which had more than the normal amount for a couple of years. I'm lucky that I never suffered from facial acne to warrant this drug.

I can see people feeling suicidal and with low self esteem if their faces looked like a pizza though. I would think that would cause these suicides that we hear from.

The only side that I would worry about is if you're female and get pregnant. They say your kid will come out looking worse than Corky so birth control is a must while on it.

Other than that I feel great and around the end of the 4th month is when I started to see real results.
 
With that name Accutane being pulled im sure eventually others will suffer likewise though.
I have heard mixed stories on sides. Some say it was horrible and lipids were off and other like you folks, hardly an issues.
Just like any other drug your personal body will handle it different.
