Anyone else backing theire music up in Flac file format?

Has anyone else started to backup their music in flac format? I back up all my CDs in FLAC now, because the quality is better than mp3s and almost as good as wav. Actually I can't tell any difference when I listen to a FLAC and wav file side by side. I don' think I'll ever use mp3s again.

Thanks for the info, just found the FLAC project page and am reading through it now. Going to try this out converting on my cd's.

Yeah, np. I was excited when I read about FLAC. I hate mp3s now. If you can't get the FLAC frontend to work you may need to find something called mscomctl.ocx.
This is taken off of a webforum that helped me

1. download the tools .zip from the flac website, extract to Program files
2. download flac frontend and copy to the Prog files dir above
3. Invalid Link Removed
4. run that .BAT file. basically it does something with the MSCOMCTL.ocx file, and makes it work
5. run flac frontend, should work

Some devices support FLAC some don't. I don't have an ipod and I hate itunes. I mainly concern myself with backing my music up on my pc.
