Exclamation New Year's Resolution - OverTraining is Over!

In the year 2010 I will never train any body part more frequently than every 5 days (Monday/Friday - Wednesday/Monday).

Anything more frequent is driven by obsessiveness and compulsion and has proven to me time and time again to be unproductive at best and wreek havoc on my sleep and stress levels at worst.

Less is more and I resolve to do less and receive more.

So true but it took me a few years for it to register.

Just have to watch the calories though if you don't replace your time off with anything else.

The cals I can handle..............either watch the diet or increase output. The thing that really gets me is the joints.

dg, I had no idea you were 46. Judging by your avi, I figured late 20s, early 30s. Lookin' good.

My new year's resolution: floss every day. Yep.

More rest, more recovery which in turn is resulting in increased intensity when training.

    Most effective!

I'm liking the response to my physique.
