I have never wanted a "traditional" wedding. I dislike the tension, nerves and the fact that noone really has fun unless someone makes a mistake in their vows. This is inspiring and valid as marriage IMO is a celebration not a strict ritual.

I agree. I never planned the black tux/white gown thing either. Its been done so blandly for thousands of years. These people have so much joy and happiness, on a joy meant to be the greatest in their lives(save maybe having a child). And they sure as heck enjoyed it!

Sadly it would be cliche to do the same thing, now I have to become creative in another way:mischievous:
