I can see that happening if she's at a game with her bf or husband and he fills one out first.
I know in Boston chicks are very into baseball. From what I've seen at the ballpark. My kinda girl.

Not saying that I agree with the Jeter selection... but who would you vote in over him in the AL? Scutaro is the next leading vote getter...
I would say Zobrist, but no one knows who the guy is.

Correction... I don't think Zobrist would be eligable at SS even though that's his natural position since he's playing 2B right now.
I don't see anyone I'd start over Jeter (offensively).

I just looked at the latest results. Ramirez isn't even in the top 5.
1. Derek Jeter Yankees 3,046,813
2. Jason Bartlett Rays 1,419,499
3. Elvis Andrus Rangers 1,028,157
4. Marco Scutaro Blue Jays 807,199
5. Jed Lowrie Red Sox 576,629

I'd rather see Carlos Lee and Brad Hawpe in your NL lineup with Braun.
Everything else I can't argue with. I'd love to see Sizemore in the AL lineup, but he's having a rough year. Too rough.
We'll agree to disagree on the AL SS situation.

At the risk of sounding biased, Jason Bartlett should be playing 2nd base in the AS game. He's a handful of at-bats shy to be eligible for the second highest batting avg in MLB and undisputedly the highest BA for a SS in the AL. Statistically and just on general principle, Bartlett should be playing short in the AS game.
Just my $0.02

Bartlett: .362 BA, 7 HR, 36 RBI, 43 R, 17 SB
Jeter: .307 BA, 9 HR, 32 RBI, 48 R, 17 SB
To be honest, when I looked this up, I expected Jeter's #'s to be lower. Not sure how many of those HR's have been due to that joke of a ballpark (9 is a lot for Jeter before the AS break...he hasn't hit 20 HR in a season in 5 years) but apart from that, his #'s look good enough to be an All-Star. (especially when you factor in his name/history/etc)

What makes Jeter stand out is that there are no good SS's in the AL anymore. Yeah Jeter is a good still but his numbers pale in comparison to some of the numbers in the NL for SS's.

Someone with MUCH better numbers would get the nod over Jeet - that I'm confident of... but much like a championship boxing match, you can't just walk in and match the champ blow for blow - you need to take him apart and dominate.

MLB Network, with their amazing statisticians, said that if Pena doesn't get in the AS game it will be the first time since some douche in the 80's who led the AL in home runs didn't get voted in.

What's even worse is the winner gets homefield in the WS.
That's flat out IGNORANT!
The team with the overall winning record should have homefield.Like it use to be.
You could have a wild card team who barely won 80 games end up with homefield over possibly a team with 100 w's!
Thank Bud Selig for that brain-fart
NO way homefield in the WS should be determined by a popularity contest in July
