I'm afraid we have all forgotten, we have such damned short memory spans and fall right back into our daily routines and complacency.
It really, REALLY tears my ass to hear some of these damned elite hollywood liberals spouting off about how arrogant and egotistical our current (Bush) administration is in matters of foreign policy. Like we're supposed to be kissing the ass of Europe and the United Nations. Screw that.
We should never, EVER have to ask permission to defend ourselves or the security interests of our allies. Whether or not we are right in our threat assessment we cannot abdicate our responsibility to ourselves. This bent of socialist eliteists to make us a 1 world order is damnable. They have a constitutional right to think that and to say it, but by God may they NEVER be successful in convincing mainstream America to swallow that garbage. Why do actors like Alec Baldwin or Barbara Streisand think that because we enjoy their artistic work, that we should be interested in their philosophy or politics?
It's their eliteist mentality, that the rest of us are too stupid to know what's really good for us. Shut up already.
