I had my MP3 player on shuffle and "For Whom the bell Tolls" came on and I quickly remembered that Metallica did put out some incredibly awesome music in their lifetime. Anyway, I thought I would make this poll just for fun. I do realize there are gonna be some on here that arent listed but I tried to get the best of the best.

this greatest song debate can on forever since they have so many great songs, however there's no argument that they are the greatest rock ban ever, all you have to do is listen to one of their live CD's and notice the fan participation, I have one live CD from Lisboa where the fans are actually singing louder than the band.
