People have beaten 1000lb in each of the lifts seperately. But as far as I'm aware, no single person has managed all three.

Donnie Thompson, shw, totalled 2,850 pounds at today's IPA Columbus Pro-Am to shatter Andy Bolton's all-time total record of 2,806 pounds. Thompson squatted 1,155 pounds, benched 900, and deadlifted 795 pounds.

That is just insane. If he brought his dead up he would have it for sure.

Here you go, this was posted on 11th Aug 2011 - http://www.atlargenutrition.com/blog...otal-3000-lbs/

Long time AtLarge Nutrition sponsored athlete Donnie Thompson has done it again! The mastodon of power (he tipped the scales at nearly 400 lbs with ridiculously huge rhino-like proportions) competed at the Powerstation Pro-Am in Covington, KY this past weekend. His 3,000 lbs (1,265 lbs squat, 950 lbs bench press, and 785 lbs deadlift) total was the all-time highest ever!
For some reason he doesn't train the DL so that's why it's, comparatively speaking, weak:

Donnie hadn’t deadlifted in training since 2008… Yes, we know… His personal best is well over 800 lbs and all he needed for the elusive 3,000 lbs total was a 785 lbs pull. He opened with 740 lbs and pulled it raw (no special equipment). He then took 785 lbs for his second attempt and nailed it for the 3,000 lbs total he has sought for so long.

This is also a gear and leverage issue. Unlike the squat, you cannot "load" the suit with the deadlift and, generally speaking, the heavier guys are weak on the deadlift on a P4P basis due to leverages.

Dude, if Andy Bolton can deadlift 1k I think it's a little more complicated than just being fat...

That's why I threw in the "generally speaking" caveat. Most of the monster deadlifters are not fat (e.g. Coan, KK).
