Career in sports supplement companies?

Hi there,

I apologise if this is in the wrong forum but I was not really sure where this would fit in.

It seems like it is an exciting time in the industry, all these new pro anabolic natural supplements, and even the unnatural ones.

If one wanted to consider a career in sports supplements, which kind of fields to study in are suitable? Which types of qualifications do the people who study and design these new supplements have?

I was thinking along the lines of Biochemistry, would this be correct?
