Previous injury question

A few years ago I had broken a part of my hand. The location of the pinky palm area. I did not go and get a casting. And recently when I lift weights that requires a pushing movement, it feels like I am not getting stability from my left hand. Is there any way I can fix this situation that does not require a doctor or hospital visit?
