LoL - nice. I've always found it annoying that most people somehow turn every a$$hole into Saints when they die, and feel the need to forgive them of everything they did.
While I think it's right to respect the dead, I see no problem with disrespecting the individuals who showed you no respect when they were alive.
There's a simple way to ensure this never happens to you...Maybe that would be a wakeup call for some to change their ways when they're living, lol. (although I doubt it)
Makes me think of a certain guy who bullied, picked and spit on me when I was a kid and too small to defend myself against him. He got drunk, crashed his car into someone else, and is now paralyzed from the waist down. I laughed when I found out and said he deserved it (the wheelchair part, not the other person getting hit). Other people felt sorry for him (because such an accident is supposed to absolve you of your past actions?). My memory of him wasn't so flawed.
The only thing I'm sorry about is that he is still alive, and I'd probably flip him over in his wheelchair if it wasn't for the fact that others would see it.
Sound cruel to you? Am I supposed to "turn the other cheek" now?
Well don't judge me just yet: I only saw him that one time...in the bar (when I visited my hometown 10 yrs ago)...he was HAMMERED - and he DROVE HOME (yes, he had special pedals in his vehicle so he could still drive). So I'll say it again, I wish he was dead, and I think he would deserve the same type of obituary - especially after seeing he didn't learn a single thing and he continues to go on the road drunk "looking" to injure/kill other innocent victims. Yeah, some people do not deserve a blind eye once they're dead...and I'm getting too wound up right before the long weekend for some unknown reason, lol.
