  7. I dont see Jerry Garcia on there either. How credible can that list be? Sounds more like a popularity contest than an objective skills based list. JMO

That is very wrong. Also, why the hell is Malmsteen voted higher than Ritchie Blackmore?

  9. Where the hell is Peter Green?

Why is Page 6th? No slam at Eddie but he should be behind Hendrix.

  11. I hate to admit it, but this list seems like it was comprised of mostly second rate shredders and leaves out those whose music actually progressed the art of guitar in modern rock.

Lol, I know and Clapton isn't even in the top ten(or twenty)? WTF?

  13. Not to mention John Mclaughlins placement. Ive seen these types of lists before, there similar to movie critics opinions.

  14. Hammett is 32, but Hetfield is 16...WTF!!?!??!?

Technically he is proficient, but his music in not innovative, nor does it sound very good IMHO.

his albums suck but see him live and you will change your mind

  20. Eddie is certainly great but compared to many other names on the list, he never really progressed/evolved or contributed beyond his limited niche.

No ****. I'd expect to see Clapton higher, and what the hell is Stevie Ray Vaughan doing at 30? I can understand not number one, but I'd expect him to be in the top ten or twenty at the very least. And as much as I love David Gilmour and Pink Floyd, putting him 11th seems odd to say the least. Top twenty perhaps, but I'd push him down a few notches at least.

  22. I in no way endorse the poll or its results. Ed is a has been. His playing has declined considerably. He has produced nothing in far too many years. He was something in his prime but sadly those days are behind me and him both.

  23. No Steve Howe?

  24. All i can say at that list is .......WOW.

Dimebag darrel is 12th, and SRV is 30th......ummm no freakin' way!

I agree that page should be #2 right behind hendrix imo.
