what are they really used for? i search but cannot find a good answer. do they work hand muscles? forearms?

There used for working the forearm muscles. They also help strengthen your grip.

so they dont help in hand development? anyway to change the apperance of the hand? hands have muscles?

If by hand development you mean grip then yes...

If your looking folr your hands to get bigger.. i dont think so.

damn! thats bananas look like his hand was swollen from an injury.

yo im guessing as we age are hands will get bigger.
