hey im just getting back into weightlifting after a season of wrestling my flat bench is currently at at least 230 but my decline is about 300. iv always been out of porportion from my bench to my decline but never quite this much. So my question is would it work if i gradually put 45lb. plates underneath my decline and gradually moved it up till it was level with the spot where my feet is do you think that my decline would stay at the same weight and would eventually be able to move up to the point where its at the flat bench level?? thanks
