lifting during the season

I play hockey, made huge gains over the summer while skating only twice a week max, now that im skating every day i see my strength and my weight dwindling. how can i prevent loosing all my gains. i need ur help quick guys!

Increase your calorie consumption and lower the volume on your weight training. For example, if you are doing 12 sets for chest, then reduce your volume to 8-9 sets.

I played sports all year round from 8th-12th grade (football, basketball, baseball)......so basically I only had the summer to REALLY workout right......but during the season, I would workout 2-3x a week....all compound lifts. I didn't lose much IF any muscle at all!
