| Gold Member | Whats this exercise hit? You take dumbells like a shrug and raise them upwards with your hands. Here is a video demonstrated by Dorian Yates. The exercise is on 2:52 Tryed it today for trying to get a feel for it ,is it rear delts? |

| Action is eloquence- W. Shakespeare | Prone DB shrugs minus the incline bench. They hit the middle and lower portion of the traps, maybe a little posterior delt action as well. |

Im thinking the posterior delts because never saw a shrug done with raises the weights with arms, only seen shrugs with direct traps involved. | |

Google prone DB shrugs and read the description. People use an incline sometimes. This isn't it, I'll find it, check this out. XL Athlete - Exercises It's in this article.
