big cardio problem,need help

    big cardio problem,need help


    im doing cardio(running) usualy about 7k a session,problem is when i hit around 3.5-4k my calfs start to get very painfull,i continue to run as im not even breathing heavy and after another 1k or so my feet start to go dead,i loose all feeling in my toes and calfs,ive changed my runners 3 times with no change in results,i warm up very well before i set into the run,i need help maybe to find out whats causeing this and get it cured as im losing all interest in my runing,its bein going on for 4 months now,any suggestions would be much helpfull,thank u

    Probably bad circulation to the extremities. Two ?'s

    1. Do you notice the same thing in your arms?
    2. Have you tried the capillary refill on your toes?

    never had that problem on the arms.. dont understand number 2.. sorry

    Squeeze you big toe nail and if it doesn't go from white to red, then there is bad circulation.

    my calves always get really tight, not just in the back but all over, the front too.

    i dont know if its how im running or whats wrong, i think i run using too much of my lower legs and not enough upper leg movement, and im too straight in my upper body, i dont know.

    no never in arms.just calfs the whole time.its very strange and annoying

    humm, I dont think it is, but research shin splints ( do a search on here) could possibly be that?

    for me the ankles just lock up i loose all movement on ankle
