  1. what about us


    I find that most of the guys on boards are ecto/meso trying to get bigger. what about us guys who are meso/endo side. what diets work for guyslike me. any different training/diet techniques. im talkin about guy who were over 250lbs before they started training.


  2. Bro that's me right there also. I was around 350-360 last year. I'm down to 292 right now. I've had good results with lower carb eating,although not low enough to be CKD. My eating ratios have been 40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fats. I also found it better to do heavy training while cutting. Can't wait to start my CKD diet next week cause my last final is this Wednesday. I also separate cardio and weight training sessions. I do abs with weights 3 times a week. Hope this helped

  3. Im sayin you'll read post of guys sayin "I hope im back up to 225 by the summer" up to? I cant even remember the last time i was under 250. mu higest point was 3 yrs ago when I was up to 315 and I was like **** that, i dropped down to 259 doing the atkins thing in a couple of months. then i got into bodybuilding.

    little little little man. I will not turn this into a me vs you thread cause like in life you will fail. I tried atkins and it worked for me. I proably wouldnt do it again now cause ive found things that I think work better. you will never surpass me cause while Im in the gym at 6:30 in the morning (doing cardio) your at home in the bed dreaming of being me. your new nickname is black napoleon.

    Actually a bodybuilders CKD helps many of us endo's.
    I'm endo/meso and have used a CKD sucessfully as many others have as well.

    Actually being a high fat diet, more muscle is sparred compared to a traditional carb based cutting diets. The high fat actually slows down the rate of protein conversion, thus sparring more muscle.

    If you like, I can tootle you on a bodybuilder's CKD.

    what are ur sources...im in the nutrition field; and i was a college wrestler i went to many clinics on the proper way of losing weight(even though none of us wrestlres did it that way)....its funny how this stupid low carb diet has just become popular over the last 2 yeras tops when prior to that the theory was high carbs low fat...and prior to that it was counting calories...if u honestly think that tricking ur body(depriving) ur body to the point to which it must use protien for energy is healthy... then well, ur out the gate...the simple equation is burn more calories by exercersi ng than u stuff in ur face then u will lose weight...i have no pitty for "big for nothings"endomorphs that claim its so hard to lose wight....number one u already have the size to work with....im sure its a lot easier to build on that 250+ frame than it wold be for someone who weighed 145 and couldnt put on weight...but im gonna be like everyone else this year and jump on the atkins bandwagon when 3 years ago nobody knew who the hell he was...BTW his diet was specifically designed to get his patients that needed heart surgery down and weight fast nothing more nothing less....i dont even think he followed his own diet and if he did well, all that fat must have clogged up his arteries cause he had an attack. the weight loss industry is a billion dollar a year industry that directly correlates with the healthcare industry, i will see what the nxt big weight loss fad will be next year maybe it will be eat all meat no vegatables ever and u will lose weight (despite the fact that ur colon will go up in flames...)or maybe eat all cereal all day or maybe .... only time will tell...i see lazy fat asses come into my store daily spending hundreds on the stupid atkins **** and magical weight loss pills not losing a damn pound not a SINGLE POUND...im like dude why not just drink plenty of water eat 6-8 small meals a day and EXERCISE

  8. Oh dear God GE, this isn't worth the time to agrue, if you actually did some research you would know that your last post made you sound like a gigantic ass. The burden of proof is on you, please provide some form of evidence that keto diets are harmful and/or do not work, and I will then split this into the nutrition section for further commentary and discussion. Until then, this is the training forum, not nutrition.

  9. If by Keto diet you mean go low carbs and stay there for ever then I think they are NOT the best way.

    But if you basically keeping the protein and fat approx the same and manipulating the carbs up and down then YES I think this is VERY good for MANY people. Perhaps not all but many.

    exactly to the post above...and there is alot of proof out there "mod" i dont need to prove anything cause i know...but the proof walks in and out of my store everyday, that doesnt include the multitudes of horror stories i get about how it screws up ur bodys natural digestion, but hey i make money off of people like you...jweave i would like to see a picture of urself just so i can see how effective the diet is working on u...

  16. We argue in the gym all the time but he knows who is the supreme being and who is the underling. Plus i have never taken 2 months off from lifting. just cause you didnt show up for 2 months didnt mean I wasnt there.

  18. well, whatever the nature of it you're right....this was the original intent.

    The heaviest I've ever been was 230....I was 230 lbs of lard...ugh! but what worked for me was cardio (i bike alot and mtn bike too...cant stand those treadmills and stuff), and I drop my carb intake to 100-200 gms per day. That works for me. Since the beginning of Feb I've dropped 20 lbs...down to about 200 right now. I'm doin a cycle basically of 1-test and ucp-1. I'm puttin up my results on the cycle forum.

    anyways, low carb works for me.....and I' liftin heavy, tho not as much volume. Good luck bro....

    100-200 is moderate, it become harmfull when ur going like 18g carbs a day daily
