    How do you prepare for your workout??


    Whats up everyone? This is my first thread, and I thought it would be a good idea for everyone to share how they prepare for their workout before even getting to the gym. It doesnt matter if its physical or mental preparation. Anything is acceptable whether its cranking the heat in the car to warm up muscles or meditation.Ill start...I really don't do anything to be honest, I thought this thread could be a source for good ideas..Hopefully this hasnt already been done

    I workout in the morning. Since I work in the evening, the morning is the best time for me. I enjoy working out, so I am usually ready to hit the gym when I get up. Of course, I make sure I have a shake and some cereal in the morning. Maybe a pre-workout stim and some creatine. I always try to make sure I'm enjoying my workouts. I do tend to want to make gains faster than they come. So that's something I have to keep in perspective. The workout is still good even if I don't increase my max by 5 pounds every week or even if I don't hit as many reps as I was going for. The gains add up in the long-term and I can see and feel the results I get for my consistent effort.

    I just listen to some Slayer on the walk to the gym. Its about 10 minutes or so there, so Im usually warmed up a bit and mentally prepared by the time I get there.

    Before I work out I load my body with a lot of simple carbs so I have enough caleries for my workout. This is very important for me because I do not want too loose to many caleries from my work-outs. I then warm-up and stretch all the muscles groups that will be used, I sometiimes take some 17-alpha-methydihydrotestoterone 45 min before my work out.

    I get in my routine preworkout meal of irontacks and grit 40 min before I lift

    Honestly, whatever it takes to take me to the 'zone':
    the one where your mind and body become one and say today is the day I crush the weak sauce workout I did last time.

    there's so much free porn to download, I never run out of material..

    It makes me get out of the house a little later then I would like, but that adds to the the sense of urgency,..
    Not to mention, I sware my test leveles go up by doing this, and after the 3 minuit walk to Gold's, Im preaty heated".
    Girls in tight spandex only adds to the frustration.... aggression kicks in pretty good about that time

    Hmmm good idea!!! I never thought about that...

    Here's mine: 2 tbsp peanut butter 1 apple. 1 Amp, basic cuts, or whatever I feel could crank it up.. Once in a while I don't forget my 4 albums of slipknot in my mp3 during training. This way I focus totally on pushing it, and get great sustained energy all the time.

    Also a group called the "The Agony Scene".

    I usually watch either highlights of MMA or Rocky IV when I am feeling drained. When I am feeling good, I usually just close my eyes and visualize my wokout and drink my Xtend/Substance.

    leave the house, drive the 2.5miles. enter and lift. If I feel like I want to rip ass I have to drive like a civil guy and keep the music down or Ill blow it all out on the way to the gym. If I am not tired blast the music drive like an ******* and proceed to convince everyone in the gym I am there king. If I want a solid workout, like last monday I popped 1500mg caffiene and 50mg ephedrine. I put up a 315 for 4 reps that day (fb). Still sore 4 days later. I can only do that once in a while as my body adapts fast to stimulants. But man intense workout and I was so focused everything around me was a complete blur

    Listen to some metal, such as Hatebreed or Lamb Of God, take 1 scoop of Focus XT + 2 lipo 6 (or 50mg of ephedrine) and i'm gooooood to go.

    i start off by taken my n.o. xplode first and then on my way to the gym i find some music to get me in the mood to move some iron.

    I jack up the Celine Dion or some Showtunes from Chorus Line and get really amped up .. then I headbutt the nearest dog I can find. I follow this up by trying to get someone to spank me on a crowded street.. It takes a few tries but I usually get someone to comply.

    Then I get on my Vespa and jet to the gym, screaming and crying the whole way.

    F'n amped is all I can say.

    I usually do a line or two of coke. Jerk off. Shotgun some BCAA's, and rock out to some Phil Colin's music on the way to the gym.

    Ive always been a fan of kicking puppies ...they are too little to bite back.. Celine is good but nothing gets me more jacked up than Kenny Loggins highway to the danger zone ..lets get physical by Olivia Newton John makes me see red.
