I am on this split as of late

legs
push
off
pull
off.. repeat

I follow some of Glen's rules- 3 sets for each bodypart and each set to failure

I have one goal with this split- Raw Mass.

Will doing only barbell exercises be a bad thing? Or should I work in dumbells too? Currently I just alternate flat and incline BB press.

Thanks.

I rarely use barbell for flat bench anymore for a couple of reasons. One, I have f-ed up shoulders and that seems to be no good for them. Also, when doing a primarily barbell routine (flat and incline), I didnt see a whole lot of growth, but more strength. I think that dumbells are a better option when it comes to growth, as well as throwing in some barbell every couple of weeks or so.

I can second that. After shoulder surgery last year I found the dumbell bench to be much better for my shoulders. For whatever reason the barbell press motion didn't feel natural. Also, the dumbell requires you to use more control and it just feels to me like I get a better lift (and better gains).
