Was wondering what happens when you eat after cardio metabolically speaking. What are some advantages/disadvantages? Does what time of day change any of this?
well I may be not correct, but after cardio your body will become catabolic as if you were pushing iron and after it you should ingest fast acting protein and then like 45 to 1h after do a good solid meal.
try not to get caught up with the minute details because over analyzing it will mess with your head. depends on form of cardio. circuit training, hiit, jog, etc
