Recovery for a injuried bicep???

Recently hurt my left bicep taking down a 355lb girl at work...I know lololol but it's been in pain for four days now and today it felt better so I lifted chest and tris and I felt the pain in my bicep just picking up a weight it's the inside part of my bicep and it ended up getting to the point of where I lost strength in it today...I couldn't even pick up a 10lb weight and curl it so what should I do? I'm due to start a cycle in 2 weeks...ice? Heat? I've never had an injury like this before

Lol well thanks for the help...and she was drunk and going crazy at her girlfriend...yes I said girlfriend so we responded and my partner grabbed the smaller girl and the god damn cow I had to restrain went after my partner so I tried to bear hug the bear but couldn't get my arms around her so I full nelsoned her on the ground and I wasn't nice about it I ended up getting up after a few mins of getting pulled like a sled dog and tased her

Oh so you are a cop. Wow, anyway, that doesn't sound fun. I guess everyday can be exciting or boring with that job though.

Whenever you lose strength it's a sign that you need to rest. You can work around/rehab pain with good strength but if it the muscle is weak, you should ease off. Considering your job, you might want to go see a specialist.

I second this to the nth degree. Esp with strength loss. Any sign of a separation or "divot" in the belly of the muscle? Even without a visible sign o a biceps tear, something may have happened. Specialist, all the way man

At the risk of getting chewed out im gonn say ghrp 6. I had a partially torn rotator cuff my junior year of college ball and i swore that stuff promoted fast healing along withba ravenous appetite

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA "the god damn cow!!" and then you tried to HUG THE BEAR!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA omg I woulda payed to have seen this **** going on!! You made my day sir!!! xD hahahahahahahaha...

Also on the bicep note: Sorry to hear that brotha , it seems to be the tendon if you are not having strength in it , my advice would be rest to rest that biceps completely and go see your doctor :/ bicep tendons are really tricky and you wouldnt wanna permanently damage it!.

PS: xD THE COW!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

God damn cow is right. I remember this 6'4" 350lb lady I had in mental health one day, took 4 cops (we don't have security w ehave Dayton PD in our hospital), 10 rounds of B-52's, and she still broke one of the restraints and tried to chew off another one. oh a B-52 is ativan 2mg mixed with haldol 5mg, given IM. Tasing her worked, but wouldn't keep her down. Schizo, off her meds for a while. I do not envy the police when they responded to her house and the first two on scene tried to subdue her. Its a hard job, hats off to you howwedo (and Aaron).

Ty sir and yes my bicep is still sore when I flex it so going to do legs today and off tomorrow and hopefully lift biceps on sun
