I've been doing sprints and what I call rowing sprints for an hiit style cardio. I'm starting a little early. My actual cut starts the becoming of next month. What do you do for cardio when you're leaning out?
I do both. Often I'll do HIIT twice a week and LISS twice a week. I run 2.5 miles when I do LISS and I often finish in about 15-16 minutes. I'm actually in better condition now than I was when I was in the Marines. When I do HIIT, I do 1 minute of jogging and 35 seconds of sprints for about 10-12 rounds. I do HIIT for sprint/speed work and LISS for overall aerobic conditioning. My resting heart rate is around 65BPM.
