congrats on sponsoring this iron addict.

1 question. i lift for average of say 1 hour through 1.5 hours. i do about 4 sets of everything and go until i can't go any further on at least two of the sets. i can't go till failure on some sets because i don't have a spotter. how long do you think is too long to be lifting? i hear different things from different people

i noticed that he hasnt answered this in a while.. tests show cortisol levels begin to raise at the 45 minute mark or so.. but i say no longer than an hour..

All that matters is what works. 1-1/2 hours is way to long for most people, but others thrive on it. If your results are not what you expect, the solution is to keep reducing until you hit that "sweet spot" where progress is constant. Doing more is not the answer.
