Hey Pat this is kinda off topic but do you think this whole vitamin D3 craze is legit? I mean you have some docs now saying that low D3 is a possibility why some men have low test levels. Today I read in the newspaper where some doc is saying 2000mg daily will greatly enhance your immune system and stop you from getting the flu. basically will supplementing our diets with D3 make us stronger and healthier?

where is Pat?
Not PA, but I would caution of Hypercalcemia. The books will tell you that it can happen at 5k-10k of D3 per day, but I've seen the effects on my wife at 1k per day.

If you try mega-dosing, start low.

Some of the new research coming out suggests that dosages of up to 50,000 iu for several months show low incidence of side effects.
