I put this up for informational purposes, another reference for ya’ll out there in anabolic land. My research was greatly helped by delving through other’s cycle logs, so I want to give back.

By the way, I’m very analytical – so my logs may be very detailed, maybe too detailed. But you can probably skim through it to get the info you need.

Superdrol Cycle (1st ever cycle):

Age: 25
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 190 (pre-cycle)
Bodyfat: ~14.5%
Lifting experience: 8 years

Cycle Info:

Superdrol (3-4 weeks):
10/20/20/ Optional 4th week - 20mg
***UPDATE: Did 31 days on cycle

Support (2 week pre-load, and throughout cycle and PCT):
(split doses where necessary)
GNC Multivitamin: -
RYR: 1.2g
CoQ10: 60mg
Taurine: 2g
Garlic: 1g
Fish Oil: 2g
Vitamin C: 2g
Glucosamine/MSM: 2g
Policosanol: 20mg
Hawthorne Berry: 1g
(Perfect Cycle): 2 servings (AM/PM)
N-Acetyl-Cysteine
Milk Thistle
R[+]-Alpha Lipoic Acid

Post Cycle Therapy (4-5 weeks):
Liquid Nolva: 30/30 mg
Rebound XT: 75/75/50/25mg
Frenugreek: 3/3/4/5 caps
DHEA: 200/200/100/100mg
Lean Xtreme: 3/3/3/3 caps
HMB: 4/4/4/4g

*I also have Toremifene Citrate and ActivaTe on hand – I know 90% of people on here suggest a SERM, but I’m going to try my first cycle without it (a friend of mine just did a SD cycle with no SERM and was ok, hopefully I can follow suit). I will put the Toremifene in if the PCT isn’t going well. ***UPDATE - Decided to add liquid Nolva as the 1st week of PCT hit pretty hard.

FYI:
Total costs (not including the Vit. C, multi, fish oil, or Glus/MSM – since I take those everyday anyway) - $168 (~$230 if you include the toremifene)

Bloodwork profile:

Done 2 weeks prior to cycle

Great across the board (will get post-PCT bloodwork 1 week after PCT is done)

Diet:

Clean as possible (for me at least)

1 gallon of water / day
Cals will depend on how I feel (I imagine 3-4k calories / day)

Breakfast – Egg whites, english muffins, a couple strips of bacon or ham
Post-1st workout – Muscle milk shake
Lunch- Steak/low-fat hamburger patty/chicken breast, cottage cheese
Pre-2nd workout shake – EAS protein shake – w/ banana, strawberries, low-fat PB
Dinner- Fish/Steak/hamburger, potatoes, some veggies, etc.

Snacks: I found some sweet low-sodium beef jerky at Sams Club, protein bars, small children :) - kidding

Lifting Schedule:

2 workouts / day (+ jiu-jitsu 3-5 times a week)
11-12 workouts / week
0.75-1.5 hours / workout
(Yes, this is my usual lifting regime)

50mg Vasopro Ephedrine HCL 1.5 hours before 2nd workout (I’ve been taking ephedrine/ephedra for 5 years, best thing since sliced bread)
***UPDATE - dropped EPH from cycle since superdrol was helping enough by itself, plus concerns about BP using both concurrently...did use a few times when I was super lethargic

Main exercises:
Dumbbell Bench (barbell bench screws with my shoulders)
Squat (Front/Back/Overhead)
Deadlifts (Floor/Rack)
Military Press
Push Press
Cleans
Snatch
Jerks
Behind the Neck Jerks
Other assistance exercises (rows, pulldowns, hyperextensions, abs, etc.)

Submission grappling (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) – which takes care of my cardio

Personal Records:
(in exercises I care about, have maxed out in, and can easily trace to detect strength gains)

Dumbbell Bench: 280 lbs. (140 lb. dumbbells)
Squat (ass to ground): 410 lbs.
Front Squat: 350 lbs.
Overhead Squat: 340 lbs.
Military Press: 232 lbs.
Clean: 295 lbs.
Snatch: 255 lbs.
Jerk (from a rack): 310 lbs.
Behind the neck jerk: 340 lbs.

Goals:

I don’t come in with any specific expectations – I’m mostly curious as to how my body will react – both physically and emotionally. I hope to make some decent strength gains, cut some bodyfat, and have my bloodwork come back at decent level :)

WOW very informative to say the least. And here I come with my concern... Ephedrine and Sd, being that they both can have adverse affects on BP make sure you take your BP, and watch for signs of high BP,like headaches, nose Bleeds, etc.

Also I wonder why HMB? that stuff has been deemed useless unless cutting, on a low carb diet, which would not be recommended on SD... But other than that great looking cycle, you are also really strong !!!

Very good point. I am indeed closely watching this. I suffered from chronic fatigue (still do somewhat) - which is why I started EPH in the first place, and I've never had adverse effects whatsoever (my BP is pretty good - 110/70). I'm hoping the SD gives me a little boost of energy, at least during the beginning, and I would then just cut out the EPH on-cycle. But thanks for the concern, I plan to take readings AM & PM.

Also I wonder why HMB? that stuff has been deemed useless unless cutting, on a low carb diet, which would not be recommended on SD... .
Yeah, I may be wasting my money here doing it with SD - but I've had really good experiences with HMB. I would like to get a bit more cut (although strength gain is by far my primary concern). SD might do that alone, but I have some extra HMB, and I read a couple of logs of guys who used HMB on-cycle and liked it - so I'll give it a shot.

But other than that great looking cycle, you are also really strong !!!
Thanks, all of the hours at the gym instead of the bar have to work for something right? :)

Day 1: 4/5/06

First day of cycle - been waiting weeks to finally get started!

Workouts:

AM:

7.5 hours sleep

Woke up at 0700 - ate breakfast then took the SD. Worked out 1.5 hours later, didn't really feel an effect (to be expected). Did jerks, rack pulls w/bands, military press, some back hypers. Pretty average workout.

PM:

Worked out at 1800 - this time I did feel a bit more energy than usual, I was also really thirsty - so I drank a **** ton. My endurance was a tad higher than usual. Pretty much what I expected for day 1. Most the research I've done shows that most people start feeling noticeable effects after 3-6 days. Did snatches, overhead squats, dumbbell bench - all felt pretty good, it was a light day so pretty easy workout.

The goods:
Like I said above, energy and endurance were up a tad than usual.

Sides:
None - that would really suck after only one day :)

Other observations:
Around 1100, I was thirstier than a mf'er. I usually drink a decent amount of water during the day - but I probably doubled that today (i.e. keep a water bottle filled and close to you at all times). I was also hungrier than usual for lunch -and really, really hungry after my 2nd workout. Fortunately I hit up Sams club yesterday and stocked up.

My motivation is way up; I'm very excited to see what this stuff can do!

Day 2: 4/6/06

Starting feeling the hormone fluctuation today,

Workouts:

AM:

7.75 hours sleep

Woke up at 0645 - sleep was a little more restless than usual, had to get up to pee once. Ate breakfast then took the SD. Worked out 2 hours later, felt a little lethargic going in, felt like one of those days when by the first few reps, you know it gonna be a rough one - but I can tell the SD kicked in as my workout got progressively better. Endurance definitely up, felt a little flush most of the day - which I attribute to the hormone fluctuation. Did cleans from the blocks and an exercise called 'Rigert pulls' - which kill the hammys. Great workout, considering how I felt at the beginning.

PM:

Worked out at 1900 - way too late for me, but did some squats anyways. Felt kinda sore, but got though it. Was even thirstier today, I must have drank damn near 2 gallons. Appetite way up again. Had an overall good feeling all day, some extra energy. Felt motivated to workout even though I was kinda sore and tired. I can feel a higher level of aggressiveness/assertiveness - in a good way actually, not really angry at all. I'm surprised at the effects I'm feeling this soon. I hope the strength gains are as dramatic; hopefully they'll really kick in the next few days.

The goods:
Again, energy and endurance were up. Overall good, energetic feeling.

Sides:
Sleep was a tad rattled, but nothing to throw me off.

Other observations:
The emotional effect is interesting, hopefully it will continue at this level. It's amazing how thirsty I am - it’s wild! Also, libido is up a notch - no detectable shrinkage as of yet. I'm also taking a pre-emptive strike against backne by showering twice a day and using a salytic (sp?) acid soap lather - I'm not prone to acne or pimples, but better safe than sorry. Otherwise - so far, so good.

Day 3: 4/7/06

Starting to feel strength effect today!

Workouts:

AM:

8.25 hours sleep

Woke up at 0630 - sleep was fantastic, had to get up to pee once. Ate breakfast then took the SD. Worked out 1 hour later, felt tired and sore - but trudged through it. Did clean and jerks and and military press. Poor workout, I did take a few days off before I started this cycle - so I might have been a bit detrained going in - which is why I'm so sore (I'm usually never sore).

PM:

Worked out at 1900 - way too late for me again, but the SD certainly kicked in here. I was able to get really revved up, get aggressive on the weights. After about 1500 - I was very anxious to lift as I felt some really good energy. Appetite and thirst still high (and I imagine will be from now on). Had a great overall feeling all day, lots of extra energy. Although I did crash a little after lunch (fell asleep at my desk). Did push presses and deadlifts - great workout especially considering the time of day and my soreness.

The goods:
Energy and endurance were definitely up (PM especially). Overall great, energetic feeling.

Sides:
Stomach was a little disturbed (little queezy) but only intermittently and only for a few minutes at a time. Went away PM.

Other observations:
The energy, both emotionally and physically, are way up. I can usually get myself up for a workout even if I'm tired - but so far on SD I can really get revved up for a workout, a set, a rep, etc. Also, I notice a high endurance level - I can go longer and more intense into a workout without getting tired, sometimes even gaining a second wind. Again - so far, so good.

Day 4: 4/8/06

Pretty normal day.

Workouts:

AM:

10.5 hours sleep

Woke up at 1000 - sleep was good - had time to sleep in today. Ate breakfast then took the SD. Worked out 1 hour later, felt really good, ramped up. Did some really heavy squats. Good workout, a little sore afterwards though.

PM:

Worked out at 1530 - not that great a workout. I felt a bit slow and not very energetic. Did behing the neck jerks, rack deadlifts, and dumbbell bench. My stomach started hurting a little bit, but not all that bad. I grappled about 2 hours later -and was able to go a bit harder and longer than usual, but holy **** was I gassed after about 30 minutes - almost threw up.

The goods:
Energy was up in the morning, a little down in the afternoon.

Sides:
Stomach was a little disturbed again. Strength not progressing as I would like, I don't think I've gained any extra strength at all. No others to report.

Other observations:
The energy leveled off a bit today - so did the emotional effects. Strength has been virtually unaffected - hopefully next week the bump to 20mg will spark that. My weight hasn't fluxuated much - up about 3 pounds (which is fine). So far a little less than I expected, but people respond in different ways - so hopefully week 2 will be the breakout one for me.

Day 5: 4/9/06

Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

Workouts:

None - Sunday is my day off.

The goods:
Just skip to the sides...

Sides:
Last night I took a girl I met last week out to dinner, things went well, went back to her place - then a guy's worst nightmare, that's right - libido crash, and I mean hardcore. I was a bit embarrassed, but not being one to b.s. I just told her I was taking the equivalent of a steroid and this was an occasional side effect. She was surprisingly cool about it.

So now to my question - what the best stuff to use on cycle for libido loss (viagra/cialis, herbal stuff, etc.), and something I can acquire quickly! I'm seeing this girl later this week and would like the prior episode not to repeat itself.

Other observations:
'Nuff said.

Well, since I'm taking SD almost solely for strength gains - I'm not too upset about this little snafu, as it is simply the equivalent of an occupational hazard. But it still sucked nonetheless. I should have got some viagra/cialis before simply as a precaution - oh well, lesson learned.

Day 5: 4/9/06

Sides:
that's right - libido crash, and I mean hardcore. Other observations:
Wow, from what I've seen and experienced, libido normally isn't a problem until the 3rd week, keep in mind once it goes it probably won't come back until well into PCT. Seems most people on a 3wk SD cycle get it back around wk 2 of PCT, I didn't get back my Manhood until wk 4 of PCT(I ran RXT an extra 2 wks, kept Nolva at 3 wks) I could perform but didn't really want to! First time in my life sex was not my primary focus LoL

Well, was too busy to keep a daily log on here - but here are the highlights:

End of Week 1:

The goods:
After one week, my endurance during workouts had definitely gone up - strength a little bit. My weight had gone up from my normal 190-192lbs. to 198lbs. My workouts were more aggressive than usual. Overall feeling of well being, sleep was virtually undisturbed.

Sides:
I had a hardcore crash with libido and erection, but I got some liquid Tadalafil - problem solved (actually more than solved, holy **** this stuff works). Testicle size only slightly less than normal. Other than that, not much. No ache, only slightly more lethargy during early afternoon.

Other observations:
So far so good. Starting to feel the effects with only minimal sides. Hormone levels have leveled off and I feel pretty normal most of the time, and usually really good for workouts. Water is so essential, you must drink constantly. Evenly, and frequently, spread out meals are also essential - I felt real ****ty when I didn't eat consistantly.

Try to keep carbs really consistent on SD, I noticed u were using only 2 grams of taurine, I hope this works, but my cycle and several others I know used 5 grams in morning and another 5 with last meal to combat the lower back tightness, this effect is really an individual thing though, so good luck will, be following.....

Beginning Week 3: superdrol dosage up to 20mg (split 7AM / 4PM). Body weight up by 5lbs - all to legs and traps.

End of Week 2:

The goods:
After two weeks, this stuff had really kicked in. My workouts were awesome, and my endurance was poppin.

My traps are huge, it’s ridiculous (it helps that I do a lot of pulls and the classic lifts). Libido rebounded in a huge way, but still taking the tadalafil because it’s neat.

My strength and speed are up, and I’m able to eat like a mofo. A regular feeling of well being – I’m consistently in a good mood (although I’m usually a pretty happy person) and can’t wait for my next workout. 12 training sessions this week, all consistently good.

Sides:
I did have some huge back pumps (low back mostly), but I upped my taurine dosage to 4-5g per day, and that took care of it for the most part (Thanks RipdnTxs for suggestion).

No acne at all, actually with all the water, my skin is probably in better condition than usual. Sleep went well during this week. Although lethargy hit pretty hard starting about day 10, about 1pm my body would just shutdown completely. But I would take my second dose of SD about an hour before my 2nd workout (5-6pm), and I’d be right back up again.

My aggressiveness is up in the gym, but not really elsewhere. Some usual hippie dip**** cut me off today, and I didn’t even get mad. I think the euphoria of knowing how well my training is going has curbed the anger effect.

Other observations:
The upage in dose from 10 to 20mg makes a big difference, as to be expected. Lots of taurine and water (consistent throughout the day) is essential, the pumps can get very painful otherwise.

(By the way, this is not in chronological order, as I'm done with my SD cycle - I kept a written log but didn't have time to type it all on here, so I'm giving the highlights)

(This cycle was completed already, but I'm updating it to have an electronic record - as I slacked off on typing up my log during the cycle - and because I'm running a 2nd cycle next week, sorry if this bumps - just ignore it)

Beginning Week 4: superdrol dosage will stay at 20mg (split 7AM / 4PM). Body weight up by another 5lbs - all to legs and traps. 10 lbs gained so far.

End of Week 3:

The goods:
This third week was incredible, each and every training session was a winner. I set PR's in 6 different lifts, and I've gained 10 solid pounds, and my traps are just ridiculous. This stuff has made a beliver out of me.

Eating and water consumption are at an all-time high, but some nausea has set in. It usually goes away fairly quickly.

14 training sessions this week, with high intensity, would be overtraining under normal circumstances - but not here. No signs of soreness (the back pumps have almost completely subsided with increase to 6g of Taurine per day) or inflammation.

Sides:
Still not much here, no acne or "puffyness". The back pumps have subsided. Nausea is present, and the lethargy during the afternoon is pretty bad. But I can still get up for my 5pm workout just fine.

Sleep is ok, and my attitude is still pretty normal - although I'm becoming a little more testy at times. My agressiveness for workouts is a great plus, I feel very focused and intense in each lift without losing a lot of energy.

Other observations:
I've decided to go a 4th week due to increased gains and minimal sides. I'm not trying to be a superdrol salesmen or anything, but I've been weightlifting for 7 years meaning any gains in strength these days is quite slow and takes a great deal of effort. 3 weeks on this stuff has equated to a good 12-18 months of solid gains. Also, I have a very difficult time putting on weight, and now I've gained 10 very solid pounds - wow, just wow!

4 week Superdrol Cycle complete

End of Week 4:
The goods:

The final results, Superdrol cycle:

Post-Cycle Bodyweight: 208lb. (+18 lbs.)

Dumbbell Bench: 330 lbs. (+50 lbs)
Squat (ass to ground): 470 lbs. (+60lbs)
Front Squat: 400 lbs. (+50 lbs)
Overhead Squat: 375 lbs. (+35 lbs.)
Military Press: 270 lbs. (+38 lbs.)
Clean: 330 lbs. (+35 lbs.)
Snatch: 280 lbs. (+25 lbs)
Jerk (from a rack): 340 lbs. (+30 lbs.)
Behind the neck jerk: 375 lbs. (+35 lbs.)

On average a 10-15% gain on major lifts, and a nearly 10% gain in bodyweight. The results speak for themselves. I had a secondary goal to get leaner, and while I don't have bodyfat records (couldn't find a good place to have it done in time) - comments I got from over a dozen people about how big and lean I looked - it will have to substitute :) In the words of my buddy Russ - "You do look swoll brotha'"

Sides:
I'm happy to report that there were few negative side effects:

Acne: Not only not present (thanks mom and pop for good skin genes), but my back was clearer than normal, probably from all the water.

Back Pumps: Present in weeks 2 and 3, until I upped the Taurine to 6g per day - then subsided.

Sleep: Was negatively effected in weeks 2-4, but not to the degree of effecting workouts or normal daily function.

Lethargy: This does hit ya', and pretty hard - but rather easy to manage.

Roid' Rage: Aggressiveness was certainly up, but only in workouts. I actually felt calmer and more focused, and like I said before, I think the euphoria of feeling pumped and receiving such positive gains helped my overall attitude.

Blood Chemistry / Lipids: Bloodwork to come back within the week.

Other observations:
What can I say? Superdrol worked for me, and seemingly minimal costs (we'll see how the bloodwork turns out). I'm glad I decided to do this, and would suggest it to anyone who had a clean family history of heart or liver problems, in already good health, likes to workout/train a lot, can maintain a steady diet, and wants to make some serious strength gains.

6 week post cycle therapy now, we'll see how much I can retain.

After 3 weeks of Post Cycle Therapy:

Supplement Regimine:
Liquid Nolva: 30/30/0 mg
Rebound XT: 75/75/50 mg
Frenugreek: 3/3/4 caps
DHEA: 200/200/100 mg
Lean Xtreme: 3/3/3 caps
HMB: 4/4/4 g

Bodyweight: Steady at 207 lbs.

Observations:
The gains keep coming - 8 new PR's since the start of PCT. Last week, I walked over to a barbell bench just for the hell of it (when I was on vacation no less), having not done normal barbell bench press in over a year, and benched 415. I had never gone above 315 before in my life -

The Lean Xtreme and HMB has help me get a little leaner and increased vascularity in the chest, legs, and shoulders - great products.

I have maintained (in gained in some) all of my bodyweight and strength gains, we'll go another 3 weeks of PCT before a final conclusion.

Final Report - 4 Week Superdrol, 6 Week post cycle therapy Cycle

Last 3 weeks of PCT:

Supplement Regimine:
Rebound XT: 50/25/0 mg
Frenugreek: 5/5/3 caps
DHEA: 100/0/0 mg
Lean Xtreme: 3/3/3 caps
HMB: 4/4/4 g

Bodyweight: Same at 207 lbs.

Observations:
No more strength gains, but I've been able to maintain my gains from the cycle. Overall cycle was a complete success.

Bloodwork Results:
Not great, but not "holy ****" scary (but it's a steroid, to be expected) - I think the Cholesterol will subside in the coming months

Lipids:
Cholesterol - 230 (yikes!)
HDL - 47
LDL - 153 (yikes again!)
Triglycerides - 152

CHOL/HDL Risk - 4.89 (still in normal range)
LDL/HDL Risk - 3.26 (within normal range)

Liver, Kidney,Thyroid Levels:

In the normal range - across the board. Very, very happy about this!

All other blood chemistry within normal levels.

Any input here? I assume this is pretty normal after a cycle from what I've read.

Summary:

Great strength and bodyweight gains, maintained over 6 weeks. Minimal sides during cycle and PCT (Nolva was kind of a ***** though). Bloodwork ok, lipids not good, but kidney and liver numbers in great shape.

I will see where I'm at in 6 months and try another cycle around the middle of October.

:D

GL to all, hope this adds to the knowledge base that is Anabolic Minds. Cheers.

Now that was one hell of a good cycle!
Thanks!

I was plesantly surpised by the results, especially since there were a lot of mixed opinions about the efficacy of Superdrol.

I want to do another cycle here in the next few weeks, I'll put the results of that on this log as well - I'm curious as to how close the gains from the 2nd cycle will be to the 1st.

The nolva wasn't the Rx brand, but I got it from one of the sponsors (the liquid form). It wasn't bad, but it did make me feel flushed and a bit nauseous.

well they took off the sig and avatar option for non GOLD members i think. You can still post pics somehow. I think you can upload them or directly link them, not sure. The sponsor nolva is just as good. Howd you like the taste? I figured out during my last week of nolva to put it in a empty capsule and just swallow.

Superdrol Cycle #3

I've gone through 2 superdrol cycles now with great results. The last cycle was a bit sloppy, but life sometimes gets in the way of things. My lipid levels have returned to normal (actually better than before) and my BP is in great shape - 118/65.

So now it's time for round 3 - I weigh about 89kg and my strength levels are actually quite similar to the end of my 1st cycle, and who said you can't maintain gains from superdrol.

I'm mixing it up based on a friend of mine's cycle. I'm gonna use PP and Prostanazol also. The support supps. are the same, but I've added Celery Seed and Beta Sitosterol, as these really help keep my BP in check.

Cycle Info. (Cycle 3)
Week 1:
Superdrol: 10mg
Phera-Plex: 20mg

Week 2:
Superdrol: 20mg
Phera-Plex: 20mg

Week 3:
Superdrol: 20mg
Phera-Plex: 20mg

Week 4:
Phera-Plex: 30mg
Prostanazol: 30mg

Week 5:
Phera-Plex: 30mg
Prostanazol: 30mg

Supports and post cycle therapy same

Bodyweight: 89kg
Target: 94-95kg

Goals: Strength gain, strength gain, oh, and did I mention strength gain. Looking a bit bigger is a plus, but not a priority.

I want to hit a 400lb. overhead squat (just to say I did), a 430-450 raw bench would be cool. I'd like to snatch 300, but that is probably another year away. I'd like to dumbbell bench the 180's, but there is one gym somewhat around me that has that weight in dumbbells - but the drive will be worth it!

Question - what is the most cycles of SD (or equalvent) have you done in a year? This will be the 3rd cycle for me in 13 months, and I feel pretty comfortable as my blood work and BP have returned to normal (or better, which is kinda cool) after every cycle.

Cheers! :clean:
