    Was feeling like my ears needed to pop or bad sinus pressure after the 850 press so I didn't stay too much longer at the gym feeling like I might have to lay down. I decided to stop by the pharmacy to check my BP on the way home to see if that was elevated and was the culprit for the way I was feeling. The store's machine was out of order so I just went home and relaxed. No working at home for once. I liked it! LOL! Have been fighting a touch of lethargy but nothing too bad. So far, no real sides to note. This is really going rather smooth!
    Damn 490 on calves were you using the leg press for that? My gyms standing calf raise machine doesn't go that high. Unless you were doing seated calf raises which would be a ton of plates


  2. Yep, I would do calves then press on the Hammer Strength squat press. And yes, it made the calves burn like crazy!

    Well, after this morning's weigh in, it's 11 lbs.! How high will I go........................? My wife told me this morning that it was definitely noticeable that I've put on weight! Then she added, " But in a good way!! It looks really good on you!" My wife is good at stroking my ego! Lol!

    Not sure. Not experiencing any of the normal symptoms of elevated BP. Had that one day and I think it was just from the Jack3d Advanced because the same thing happened another day I used it. Just not using a PRE right now. Will see about getting it checked tomorrow.

    Today my wife, daughter and I went to help out a friend who has a broken ankle and lives by herself way out in the sticks. She's trying to get her house ready to sell but is unable to do the work herself. Spent pretty much all day over there fixing and replacing light fixtures and ceiling fans. That and helping take care of her horses. Took a lot longer doing all that stuff than I expected and just got home a little while ago so no gym today. We will be on 8's at work this week so I'll get a session in on Wednesday instead of having an off day.

    Short and sweet workout. Woke up this morning around 1 am and was sweating like crazy. Felt like I had taken a bunch of preworkout (I hadn't taken any!) and had a hard time getting back to sleep. Woke up at normal time (5am) and was wide awake. Didn't have my normal morning cup of coffee and didn't need any boost throughout the day. Totally spaced off stopping in to check my BP this afternoon. Allergies have been acting up so sinus congestion is getting to be annoying. Had a pretty good pump going on for most of the day off and on. Starting to get the back pumps more often too. Still not bad though.

    760 lbs on the squat press was my max. Now that max is 850 so a 90 lb jump. I'm happy but not content. Going into something like this I try not to put too much expectation on it and just roll with it to see where it takes me. Losing that week at the gym while on the road hurt my gains IMO.

    Strength is up - not what it was up to early this year where I maxed at 325 on flat- but I can definitely see it coming back! Yes, I have been using the wraps but last night I forgot them in my truck and didn't want to go get them.

    Yes. I would say the majority of my 11+/- gains so far have been lean gains. Muscles are looking fuller/ harder and the waist/love handles are staying the same.
