    Well guys, I'm not much of a chatter monkey.....I made this account specifically to log my Epistane cycle. Lots of cycles end half way or aren't detailed enough....so I'm going to provide a very detailed log including blood work results for you'lls viewing pleasure. Most people don't push hard in the gym or stay on point with their nutrition, I will be doing both. That's right. I'm going to pimp Epistane like it's my bottom bi*ch hooker!!




    :Cycle:

    Ep-Stane by Dynamic Formulas 15mg caps (2 bottles total)

    45/45/45/45/45/45

    Was planning on using all my caps for a 60 day run, but as I go through the cycle, I'll let how I feel and my blood work direct me to just how long/short this cycle is going to be.


    :Post Cycle:


    Nolvadex 20/20/10/10/0/0/0/0
    DAA 3g ED for 8 weeks
    Lean Xtreme 4caps/4caps/4caps/0
    Erase 0/0/0/3/2/2/1/0


    :Assist Products:
    Animal Flex 1 pack a day for 44 days. Adding fish oil with it as needed.
    Taurine 5g ED.....more if called for.
    AI Life support rec dose through cycle and pct


    :Other Supplements:

    Lots of fish oil for PCT
    Pre-workout for PCT
    Creatine for PCT
    Multi-Vitamin for PCT and upon convenience during cycle.
    BCAA mandatory during workouts and thrown in upon convenience during cycle



    :Nutrition:

    2,000 calories of slow digesting carbs, healthy fats, and lean proteins.
    100g of carbs on workout days circling pre/post workout.
    50g of carbs on rest days consumed in early day meals.

    :Training:

    Monday: Chest/Triceps, 30-45 min cardio
    Tuesday: Back/Biceps, 30-45 min cardio
    Wednesday: Abs/for-Arms, 30-45 min cardio
    Thursday: Arm day triceps/biceps, 30-45 min cardio
    Friday: Back/Shoulders, 30-45 min cardio
    Saturday:Legs/abs/for-arms
    Sunday: Rest


    :Goal:

    Going for a recomp. Shred fat and gain some decent lean muscle mass along the way. I'll be happy with a 5lb+ muscle gain. Really looking and wishing for more though.



    As of 8-24-2012 I will be done with my 2 week pre-load of Hawthorn Berry. I will get pre-cycle blood work on 8-24-2012, and post up the results here the next day on 8-25-2012. My cycle will start on Monday, Aug 27, 2012.

    -first meal- Animal Flex

    -8 hours later-
    2ndEpStane& Taurine **At least 6hrs from first dose**

    supports **4 hours from last epstane dose**

  2. Week 1: 45mg Ep-Stane

    Had off and on nauseous spills accompanied with a mild head ache and rush's of warm-ness. Came and went and by the end of the week seemed to have passed. Blood pressure stayed low and actually got even lower by the end of the week due to me adding an extra 3 caps of Hawthorne Berry along with the cycle assist. Stuck to a caloric deficit of 2,000 calories and weight seemed to drop while all my muscles seemed to get slightly fuller. Only did 20min of cardio after every weight session. Plans for week 2 include dropping the cardio out all together and increasing the calories to 2,500 - 3,000 depending if it's a training day or rest day. New goal...."GET BIG" Taking this epistane for every lb of muscle it can give me.



    Week 2: 45mg Ep-Stane

    Strength shot up crazy in the middle of the week. Toward the end of the week I was definitely swole and it was noticeable by several people. Last day of the week a couple of pimples popped up on my back. Aside from that, everything else is good. Plans are to continue bulking, double the taurine dose, and add 4g fish oil with the animal flex to avoid experiencing any uncomfortable potential sides. On a side note, I will start using regular acne cream for my back to see if that helps, and have been using co co butter every day to reduce stretch mark visibility. Up about 7lbs since the start of the cycle and seem a little leaner as well. All this with a not so perfect diet but definitely getting in LOTS of protein. See progress pics for better progress assessment.


    Week3: 45mg Ep-Stane

    Strength slowly continued to climb. Increased pumps in the gym were definitely noticed by now. Weight still slowly climbing but not as fast. Plans were to add a mass gainer shake every day to help continue the calorie surplus. Back pumps started sitting in mid week. Even at 8g Taurine a day. Balls slightly shrank. Nothing major. Toward end of week noticed I had a swollen gland/node. Painful to the touch. Got bloods done to see my liver values were GREATLY higher then normal range. Not just slightly. Cycle officially ends after 3 weeks. Total weight gain since start of cycle is 10 pounds. See 3week progress pics for better assessment. Bloods tested for Hep C. Results came back negative. Will continue to update throughout pct.

    PCT WEEK 1:
    So far so good. Shoulders are still fu*ked up but I'm working em out regardless. Just going very light. Sleeping wrong doesn't help either. Keeping my gains. Taking 4 caps of my liv.52 every day, my AI cycle support at rec dose, my fish oils, lean xtreme, daa, and Nolvadex. After this second week I'll be getting my hormones and liver checked. Next update will include bloods.

    Wouldn't even know I was on pct really. I have never responded negatively toward Nolvadex so I'm hooked on the stuff. Guess I'll be banging Nolvadex on the side till I can get up in some Epistane again.



    PCT WEEK 2:
    Well the last 2 days of week 2 my swollen lymph node came back. Left one under ear near jaw. So I was concerned about my liver. This mornings blood work show's my liver is doing GREAT! In fact....its recovered! LIV.52 IS THE SH*T!!! Highly recommend it. I always use it. Don't know why I didn't use it this time. Tsk tsk. You live...you learn...then you get mono from a cheating woman.


    Been taking my cycle assist every day at rec dose along with 4 caps of liv.52. Starting this new week I will be lowering my Nolvadex from 20mg to 10mg. I will also introduce my AI 'Erase' at 3 caps a day. Going to get bloods done again in 2 weeks and see how the hormones are doing.


    So far estrogen is now up to a healthy level but test levels are lagging behind. The DAA will improve that over time. In the mean time I'll be controlling my Estrogen and resting easy knowing my liver is doing fantastic. Almost makes me want to jump back on....o well...soon as my hormones are recovered though I'm back on! lol Might do the actual real sh*t next time.


    On a side note....my swollen gland can be from ANY bacteria infection. Steroids weaken your immune system so it can be just about anything. One thought that crossed my mind is I have a cheating a*s woman who gave me mono. Hopefully it's not that though. Suppose I'm just bipolar and FUC*D in the head hahaha

    PCT WEEK 3:
    At the end of week 2 during pct I started breaking out pretty bad. I had lots of acne on my face, and some on my back. It even broke out at spots I've never had acne at before like my forearms. I still have decent high levels of acne on my shoulders, arms, and face. It doesn't look like I got stung by a swarm of wasps or anything....just something I've noticed. It seems to have leveled out. It's still there but just hasn't gotten worse. I'm guessing it's from my estrogen coming back much quicker then my test. Either the case it's surely hormonal.
    At the start of this new week, week 3, I have been taking a anti-biotic for whatever infection I may have. My swollen node was responding to SOMETHING, so hopefully this knocks it out. Taking 'Cephalexin 500mg' twice a day. We'll see how that go's. So far there hasn't been any other flare ups.

    For this new week I'm now bringing my erase down from 3 caps a day to 2 caps a day. Going to get blood work done at the end of this week to see where everything's at. Everything else is still continued. Liv.52, AI Life Support, Nolvadex, and DAA.



    PCT WEEK 4:
    Still have tiny pimples all on my shoulders, arms, and back. Nothing too crazy but I never had acne like this before. From what I've gathered reading it seems to be due to an influx of estrogen. On cycle it would be due to the skin producing more oil. The acne problem only came afterward though. Judging from my bloods my estrogen has been coming back quicker then my test so It makes seance. Finished 10 days of the anti biotics and no swollen lymph node. To be honest I don't even think it's a bacteria infection....I just think somethings stuck in my ear. The other day I felt some pain in the node area so it has to be non-bacteria related.*
    After week 3 I stopped taking the liv52. After week 4 (as its week 4 and 4 days into week 5 now) I have stopped taking the AI cycle support. I have not taken any creatine or pre-workout as planned during this pct. Nor have I taken a sh*t ton of fish oil as planned either. I haven't mentioned strength and size in any pct updates.....so far I have kept all my size and strength gains.*


    Here are my bloods after 4 weeks and 2 days of pct. (see actual post for bloods and all other blood test updates)


    So everything is good and test levels are back to pre-cycle .....ALMOST ready to cycle again but my estrogen continued to increase. week 3 pct I used 3 caps of erase a day and week 4 I have used 2 caps a day. As you can see my estrogen is VERY high. I'm still going to continue dosing Nolva at 10mg a day to keep gyno at bay while bringing my estrogen back down.

    Plans now are to discontinue the DAA and bring the erase back up to 3 caps a day. May even use some bit of formestanzol I have laying around as I'm starting to question the effectiveness of Erase. We'll see how it go's. In exactly one week from now I will be starting a 4 week cut to pre-pare for my next cycle so hopefully this estrogen can get in check by then.

Im leaning more towards a recomp rather than a cut but am not looking to gain a whole lot from this cycle. im currently taking 30mg divided into two doses morning and evening. Im considering bumping up to 45mg at day 14. Call me crazy but i have been following gironda's maximum definition diet or steak and eggs diet for the past few weeks now and decided to add the EP to increase the results. Right now im consuming 22 whole cage free brown eggs, heavy cream, scoop and half of casein protein, and 4-5 uni-liver tabs per meal and a pound of steak a day. i also eat kale or spinach with each meal to help keep things moving. results have been great so far even without the EP. I have a beverly style carb up twice a week sunday evening and thursday evening last meal. i have actually gotten stronger on all my lifts except for my clean and press hopefully the Ep will take care of this problem. I havent noticed much from the Ep yet but it should be kicking in any day.

    It usually doesn't kick hard till at the end of week 3. I've read some logs where people feel it as early as day 10. I love Vince Gironda. The liver tabs he rec. are far more then your taking though. He also says to take it with kelp tabs. Don't know how hard core you wanna go with V.G. but just a f.y.i. Glad to hear about your progress.....I've always been a fan of high protein, high fat, with no or very little carbs.

    Well this electronic fat caliper I have here shows me sitting at 15% BF. Though these things aren't 100% accurate, it will at least help me assess just how much in BF I'm decreasing through the cycle. As well as how much LBM I'm increasing. You can take a look at my profile pic for what I'm working with. I may or may not post up before/after pics...it really just depends on how well the cycle go's. If it go's like I want it to go, I will be confidant enough to post side by side progress pics. As far as BF goal? Well...I'd like to be as fuc*ing shredded as possible so definitely single digits. Though I can't build all that much muscle on that approach. I'm really just going to go with the flow and adjust my nutrition according to what the Ep-Stane is doing for me. Completely going to get the full benefit and best of it. Really excited to start.

Im feeling better pumps and some increase in hardness and a better sense of well being, ex. sleeping. well to my understanding liver tabs have changed a little from the ones back in the day as far as grain size. Im a big believer in his methods and can honestly say his preachings have def. changed my physique greatly. I believe too many people get caught up in all of the science and trying to prove or disapprove aspects in studies. Studies can be manipulated but real results prove themselves. The old timers focused on what got them results not studies. Everyone is different and only experimentation can truely can lead you down the path you want to follow or create new paths if its not working. Im a big proponent of what gets results not some study written on a piece of paper. I mean sure modern tech has brought some insight but for example eating that many whole eggs a day would be a no no in most peoples eyes but i feel amazing ever since i have started it. The best i have felt in years actually. But enough rambling, good luck on the cycle and nice avatar pic!

  15. Day 1:


    Whatsup guys. Having my Post-Workout-Meal......cuz.....SH*T JUST GOT REAL!


    Decided not to wait till the end of the day to post a log. Not like there would be much to say about the Ep-stane on day one anyway.

    Popped two of em bitches, drank some taurine, and headed out to kill chest N triceps. I had on my new shoes, my wrist straps, my gloves, my mp3 player, ....had my notebook/workout log....THAT'S RIGHT....
    I looked like a complete douche! But who gives a fu*k. I'm not going to snap no sh*t up just to look hard core for some random mother fu*kers I don't even know or care about.


    Had my Animal Flex with my pwo meal. Got another dose of ep-stane later on and it's off to doing a whole lot of nothing till tomorrow.


    Side note....the un-flavored All Max BCAA powder does have a flavor....it tastes like complete dog sh*t. Bought two tubs of it so guess I'ma use it anyway. Going to try and mix it with some MIO and see how that works.

  16. Day 2:

    I'm log'n in the morining/early afternoon because well...I really don't have anything to do after the gym. I'll start logging at night once I'm further into the cycle. More then likely nothing interesting will happen in the begining.


    I will say this though. Today was back and biceps and while doing some db curls, I noticed some co*k veins popping like crazy in my forearm. Not the part of it on the side of the palm....I'm already naturally vascular there....but on the opposite side where my knuckles are. First time I noticed my veins popping like that. I doubt it was the ep-stane since its only day 2....but definitely something I 'noticed' and will take note of.

    Hopefully starting out the cycle at quite a great dose will help speed the effects. Well....we'll see. Off to do a whole lot of nothing till tomorrow. Down a couple lbs but its expected. I was eating quite dirty before the cycle and as usual you always loose water weight when you start eating strictly clean.

    Didn't have much of an appetite yesterday. Ate just a tad over 1,500 cals instead of my planned 2,000. Weird because I'm always down to pig out. Never had that problem. Also my nipple itches ha ha j/k. I'm not one of those paranoid bit*hes. I'm one of those impatient f*cks.

  19. Day 3:

    Alright guys....end of day 3. Today is my rest day but It's my 'active rest day' so to speak. It's when I hit abs and work on my fore arm strength. My fore arms keep me from getting an effective bicep workout. I also want to add thickness to my abdominal area to have my abs show more. So this combined with some steady paced cardio will help add to my caloric deficit while improving some weak points of mine.


    Well...I was swore and pretty tired today. Haven't got much rest lately. So I took my active rest day and made it a complete rest day. Given I'm hitting 1,500 calories each day instead of my planned 2,000....I'm already at a great deal of a deficit. Not having this workout won't harm me and it's too early in the game for the ep-stane to start helping me put on some muscle. Especially at a caloric deficit. Rest is important too for muscle so I listend to my body. I would never skip any of my major workout days though. Going to kill arms tomorrow. Might just add abs in if I'm feeling up to it. I do pretty high volume so we'll see.


    Now...On to the interesting part....

    I dropped a couple more pounds again. It always takes me 3 days to get rid of all my water weight so I'm not going to say I'm starting to shred quickly....however....and this is no placebo or delusion....I seriously see my chest cut up more. My lower pecs are more cut. I'm not consuming much carbs at all so I can't really say it's from intra-muscular water pushing my muscle closer to the skin. Either the case.....what I didn't see before I now see, so I'm pretty pleased and looking forward to what happens next.

    Had a slight head ache today so I'm really going to make sure I get my water intake up at the beginning of the day. Took my blood pressure today and it's perfectly normal. Not high in the slightest.

    Smelly ass bombs. It smells like something died IN my ass. Now that the important information is out the way...onto the other stuff.


    Had a good arm workout this morning. Another slight head ache today. Since I started I've had slight head aches off and on and waves of nauseousness. I'll get hungry but then a wave of nauseousness hits me so I say FU*K it and don't eat. Then I'm hungry again. It's helping me stick to a caloric deficit, however I can't eat 'too little' if I want a great recomp.


    Today I had no problem hitting my caloric goal. It's all thanks to YES I CANNABIS!!!!

    Wow - I am really shocked that you are getting headaches. I recently trained for a half-marathon and was getting migraines like crazy. It took like 3 months (and some meds) before I stopped getting them after a running session. I've been on-cycle for almost 3 weeks and I haven't had a single headache. Good thing, too, since NSAIDS are such a no-no on cycle. My .02 is it's the low carbs. When I go low carbs (really low) it makes me light-headed at first and then the headaches begin.

    I can definitely relate to the hunger though. I am hungry all the damn time. Thinking of food all the time. But no nausea at all. Of course, I am eating, though....

    Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble.

    Thanks man. Hopefully it didn't come off as a negative. The nauseousness is nothing. I'm not here feeling like sh*t all day or anything. It just comes in waves so it's keeping me from eating. I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the sh**tiest I feel....it's more like a 3. I'm just including how I feel to just inform and make the log detailed on my experience.


    The head aches .....I've gone low carb before without em but I suppose low carb while on a PH may be different. Hunger is kicking in today though but I'll make a post later tonight of everything and so forth on today.

    Well here I'am hungry. Wtf right? Eating clean foods is supposed to help keep away hunger. Guess I'll have to make sure to get my vegetables in. Perhaps the ep-stane is talking to me saying feed me...FEED MEEE!!!


    The head ache/nauseousness spills I've been having only happened once today and didn't last as long. So that's good. Even though it's nothing DRASTIC, I can say my chest does appear much more fuller then normal. Had a good back/shoulders/traps workout today. Triceps are swore as fu*k from yesterdays arm day. Got legs tomorrow. F*ck I'm hungry....have I mentioned that?


    Nothing much else to say. .....if only I had a personality. tsk tsk

    Nope....but decided to smoke none the less. There is another thread on here about working out and smoking. This one guy posted a link to a study that saposenly says 'if your already a regular smoker it won't do much fluctuation to your hormones.' Something about your body already being adjusted to the fact your a pot head.


    Either the case my a*s smoked it up. I'm avoiding it as much as possible but every now and again I'll be taking some puffs. Figured....what the hell? Arnold did it.

  30. I actually seen a post in some other site and the person was actually a weed smoker nd he was fine. I dont c y it would affect with your hormones.
