I had a log already started but I did not give it an appropriate title (One more log) so I wanted to start fresh as I feel I am starting to have some great results as well as a few sides and want anyone who is considering helladrol to get as much info and feedback as possible. I am going to re-post all of my weekly updates below:


Current Stats (As of 3/18/12):
Height 5' 11"
Weight 208 - Ultimate goal ~195 by end of May (end of PCT)
Diet: ~2000 calories coming from approx. 220g Protein/140 g Carbs/40 g Fats

GOAL:
Utilize hella to assist in further cutting. I would like to retain the lean muscle mass I have and maybe add a few pounds which in turn will help in decreasing BF%. Ultimate goal is to decrease BF% over 6 week cycle + PCT.

Main Cycle:
Helladrol 75/75/75/75/100/100 *being so mild I decided to start at 75 and run up to 100
Forma-Stanzol 8/8/8/8/10/10 - split into 2 apps

I will probably have to increase calories slightly but I want the scale (more importantly BF) to decrease over the course of the 6 weeks so I will still run under maintenance. We will see how hella works on a pure cut.
 
Week 1 Update:

Started at 50 mg last Sunday but bumped it up to 75mg on Tuesday. Currently taking the 50 mg dose around 7:00 am and the 25 mg about 6:00 p.m.

Thoughts:

Positives:
Not expecting too much this early but I have noticed a few things. Definitely have noticed an increase in libido. I am usually a 2/10 (yeah sucks) but lately I would say I am like a 7/10 so that's a positive as my wife's libido is a 11/10. The last two days I have noticed a slight increase in aggression and have felt more motivated in the gym. Since I started my weight has stayed about the same. I may have lost around a pound this week. Prior to starting I had lost at least 1.8 pounds each week for the past 10 weeks. I have definitely noticed an increase in appetite and have been eating slightly more than usual so this probably has some effect on my lack of weight loss this week. One other thing to note is muscle hardness. After my chest workout this week I noticed my chest was as hard as I have ever felt it. It felt amazing. Currently I have not had any back pumps but I am taking Taurine preworkout as a preventative.

Negatives:
Not really any negatives except maybe the increase in appetite (since I am on a cut) and some issues with sleep early one. The first few nights I took it I felt almost over-stimulated when I tried to sleep but I moved my PM dose up a few hours and have sleep fine since.

I will probably only update weekly until I really start to notice some significant changes. Just wanted to post up my findings for people who are interested in giving hella a try. I will post up some beginning and progress picks later on. Nothing visually significant to note right now.

Midweek Update (Week 2):

Starting to feel lethargic in the afternoons (around 3-6). I thought it might be allergies but beginning to think its the hella as I have never quite felt like this before. Nevertheless, workouts have been fine. Still have not noticed anything significant except for muscle hardness. Maybe some very slight strength gains but again nothing significant. I did check my blood pressure today and it was slightly elevated at 144/70 so I may need to keep an eye on that. Its usually around 125/65. I had a bad headache all day so I thought it might be my blood pressure but it could also be allergy related as well.

I have made a few changes to my cycle. I got a bottle of AI Sports Glycobol and Life Support for $58 shipped so I will be using the glycobol instead of the slin sane and the life support instead of the AI cycle support as I cannot stand the taste of it. I will check back in Sunday with updates on the remaining part of the week as well as changes in weight.
 
Week 2 Update:

Been at 75 mg/day all week. Weight this morning was at 207.4 which is about 1 pound down from the start. My diet has been mediocre this week as we had some events to attend that involved eating.

Positives:
Definitely feeling very aggressive and somewhat irritable this week which can be both good and bad but I think the aggressiveness will help in the gym in the coming weeks. I have also felt that I look leaner in my stomach. Muscle fullness has been good and I have had great pumps in the gym especially in my chest and biceps. I still have not noticed a gain in strength but eating below maintenance will probably limit that. Still just hoping for a leaning effect and to be able to keep the muscle I have. I have not had any major sides or back pumps. That may change when I go to 100 mg but for now everything feels good.

Negatives:
The only negative I can think of would be the irritability. My wife asked me this week if something I was taking was making me ill lol.

Other Thoughts:
I will post starting pics and 3 week pics on the next update. I am really looking forward to weeks 4-6 as well as my PCT (yep I said it). The erase glycobol and lean extreme combo should lean me right up.

Week 3 Update:

Notes:
I decided to go ahead and log this now since I will be out of town visiting family all weekend. Been at 75 mg/day all week. Did not get a chance to weight this morning but I would say I am still right around 207-208. As promised I am posting pictures. The first one is of when I started cutting back on January 9th. I only put one up since this log is not about that but you can see I am working hard. The next few are from either 3 weeks ago when I started the hella cycle or from this morning (3 weeks in). As you can see although my weight has not changed at all I have leaned up a good bit. I think I am going to kick it to 100 mg/day the middle of next week and keep it there for the remaining time (roughly 2.5 weeks). Diet has been good this week (8/10 I would say). My appetite is crazy right now so I am really having to be careful with the quantity of food I eat. I have not missed a workout in 13 weeks and continue to be very motivated. I also purchased a water bottle that keep up with how much water you are consuming and have made sure to get a least a gallon in each day this week.

Positives:
Definitely starting to see some leaning going on especially around my belly and side (love handles). Recovery has been great but I have been a bit lethargic at times since the start. If I may down for a minute in the afternoon after work I instantly fall asleep. I am not the type to do this. I have started to notice some strength gains especially in my arms and chest.

Negatives:
Still some irritability issues. Lethargy as mentioned above as well as inconsistent sleep patterns. Looking at the pics it has been worth it though. We will see what happens at 100 mg/day/

Other Thoughts:
Looking forward to the final 3 weeks of my cycle. I think I will really lean up during my PCT with the compounds I am running and I am very happy about that.

Mid-week Update (Week 4)

Helladrol is DEFINITELY kicking in. Monday was back and bi's and I went up like 10-15 lbs on all lifts and 5 lbs on dumbbells for bicep curls. Today I hit chest and everything felt light. I started noticing it last week when I went from doing 80's for reps of 8 on dumbbell chest press to 100's for reps of 8. I am bumping to 100 mg/day tomorrow and staying at it for the remaining 2 1/2 weeks. I think this last few weeks could be awesome but I am battling some major lethargy issues right now. Everyday about 3:00 pm I hit a wall and feel like complete crap. It very annoying. Energy levels have been down but strength has been up. Its been weird.

I will post a complete analysis of the week on Sunday but so far its been very successful.

Note:
For lethargy I am going to increase carbs slightly and start supplementing with DAA @ 3g/day. I am hoping the DAA will jump-start my system and alleviate some of my lethargy issues. It has been so consistent so I should know if it helps in a few days.

Thoughts:


As you can see my weight is exactly the same but I have leaned up considerable in my middle as well as my lower back and arms. I can tell a big difference in my waist. I had to go and buy new pants this past week. Strength is starting to increase.
 
Taking the 3 grams of DAA this morning + extra carbs help with the lethargy today. Best I have felt in two weeks. Today was the first day at 100 mg so we will see how it goes

Yeah I started taking 3 g today and am going to do it for the remainder of the cycle in hopes of alleviating the lethargy I have been having. Honestly, I felt much better today. Still had some lethargy but it was much better. Could have been the increase in carbs as well.

I read a thread a while back where Patrick Arnold said he would run DAA throughout a PH cycle and did not understand why people ONLY used it in PCT. I wonder if instead of running a mild test base such as rs-transaderm you could run DAA throughout a cycle? I am giving it a try and will report my findings. I will still run it for 4 weeks during PCT as well

Thanks man. I really did not expect to see much especially since my weight had not changed. The hella is making me so hungry. I expect to look bigger in the 6 week pics but maybe at the expense of some definition. The lean extreme and erase should lean me back up during PCT.
 
Cool, I'd never considered taking DAA before the end of the cycle. Just presumed because nobody spoke of it, that it was a no no..

Yeah I don't think there is a problem with it. I think people just always saved it for PCT. It would be interesting to see if there were any differences with supplementing with DAA throughout an entire cycle.

Took another 3 g of DAA this morning and lethargy was again much better. I would not say it 100% gone but its definitely better. Enough of a difference that I can live with it. Not sure how long it takes DAA to kick in. Could be a placebo effect but either way its a noticeable difference.

If this continues I may include DAA with all my PH runs starting week 2-4 depending on PH and cycle length.
 
Week 4 Update:

Notes:
This week my diet was the worst it has been since early January. Banana pudding and turkey and dressing on Easter then my 4 year wedding anniversary on Thursday and then last night we went out to a local Italian restaurant and I had smores pizza for dessert. Felt completely bloated this morning but luckily it looks like my weight is still right at 208. I posted about this a few days ago but the lethargy was killing me this week. I have also not slept well in the past two weeks so I was starting to struggle in the afternoons. I did some research and decided to start taking 3 g DAA each morning along with upping my carb intake in hopes of getting some relief. It appears that it has worked. I have felt much better the last few days and finally go some sleep last night. Hard to say if the better sleep can be attributed to the DAA but hopefully I will know more after this week. The lethargy was hitting me hard EVERY day around 3 pm so I know something (DAA or carb increase) has definitely helped with that. On Thursday I went ahead and bumped my dosage to 100 mg so Friday would have been the only gym day at 100 mg. I felt no difference from 75 but I should no more tomorrow when I hit back and bi's since I had the 100 mg dosing throughout the weekend.


Positives:

Strength was amazing this week. For me this was the official "kick in" week. Dumbbell press went from 85 x 8 x 4 (last week) to 95 x 8 x 4. Weight felt light and recovery between sets was extra quick. Overall just felt strong and recovered this week. I am pumped about these next two weeks. I expect some great workouts. Pump has also been amazing since week 2. I am not taking any pre-workout so I know its from the hella. Side effects besides the lethargy have been non-existence but the lethargy definitely sucks. Hopefully the DAA will continue to help (if it is in fact the DAA helping :))


Negatives:
Still some irritability issues but I think I am looking for it now and therefore am better able to manage it. Lethargy and some issues sleeping as mentioned above. Woke up a few times in the middle of the night soaking wet from sweat??.


Other Thoughts:

Diet WILL BE dialed back in these next two weeks to get the most out of the remainder of this cycle. I am going to cut out the carbs from my last two meals like I was doing prior to last week and see if the DAA alone is helping the lethargy. It could have been the increase in carbs but it was not that much of an increase. I will probably do a mid-week update on Wednesday to post about how my first two workouts of the week went. They should be solid.

Quick Note:

Had a great chest and tricep workout today. Just some general thoughts below:

Really feeling strong and the pump although probably worthless definitely feels amazing. I have had several people compliment me in the gym lately on getting cut up and well as putting on some muscle. Hella seems to work great for leaning up while adding some muscle but I really do not think you can strictly cut using it (or any PH really). Its just not what they are designed to do. I am sure there are some exceptions. My appetite has been through the roof throughout this cycle as well which has made it tough. I still have managed to lean up while staying at the same weight which it amazing considering most people gain about 8-12 lbs on this cycle. So while I have not lost weight I know I have certainly lost BF% which was the original goal. Definitely a satisfied with the results thus far.
 
Week 5 Update:

Notes:
This week I did 100 mg/daily split into 2 50mg doses. Once about 7 a.m. and the other dose around 5 p.m. Support supps were taken at 12 p.m. and 10 p.m. I have continued to take 3 grams DAA every morning in an attempt to combat lethargy. I have still had some issues but it has been a lot better. I cannot for sure say it was the DAA but it definitely seemed to get better about the time I start supplementing. This past week workouts were very good. Chest day was extremely good as I was able to continue to increase weight on almost all lifts. Still no PRs but I took Superdrol back in 2006 and set some amazing PR's that will not be touched for a while at least. Again my goal has been to maintain muscle strength while I continue to lean out and Hella has not disappointed. The only issue has been trying to eat lower carbs due to lethargy and an increase in appetite. So this has basically become more of a recomp cycle than anything else with plans to do another short cutting cycle before summer (after PCT of course). I think Hella is the perfect PH for a recomp.


Positives:
Good strength gains. Have not only maintained muscle while leaning up but have added some muscle. Have not noticed any increase in lethargy or other sides while bumping from 75 to 100 mg/day. No sides at all other than lethargy. Sleep had been inconsistent but has been better lately. Overall I have been very impressed with the Helladrol. Again as mentioned earlier this is the perfect PH for a recomp (for me at least). I want to run it again in the fall but with an added test base such as M1D Black or Rs-trans to combat the lethargy and increase effectiveness.


Negatives:
Increase in appetite has made it difficult to cut. Basically calling it a recomp now. Libido is shot but that was expected. Lethargy of course


Other Thoughts:

I know this has not been the most detailed log but I did want to provide some useful information for people who actually use the search bar on the forum and read up before they start a cycle. Next week I will do a wrap-up as well as post end of cycle pictures. I will probably do two other updates during PCT just to document how my body changes. Hoping to lean up a bit and keep the gains I have made. Not planning on pushing it too hard so that my body can properly recover.

Should be perfect man. IMO, Hella is the perfect recomp PH. Adding the Rs-trans should be a great addition. I will include it for sure in my next run
 
Hey man keep up the great work. As of week 5 my libido went down, I combated lethargy with carbs and barely have it now.

As far as lifting goes I am going to back off the weights some and work more in the 12-15 rep range. I think this will also help me in leaning up a bit. I have almost completely cut out cardio in the past 2-3 weeks so I will definitely add that back to the mix. I usually do 3-4 30 minute HITT sessions a week. I also play tennis a good bit so that counts towards my cadio.

I forgot to mention above that my weight is still at 208 - same as when I stated.
 
That's what I was planning on doing with higher reps. Im planning on 2 light weeks then start to pick it up the next few.
 
Final Update:

Notes:
This was the 6th and final week of my helladrol run. I kinda of feel like I peaked out towards the end of week 5 but definitely did not regress any this week. My final run looked like this: 75/75/75/100/100/100. I did run 50 mg/day for the first 3 days then bumped it up. I also bumped from 75 to 100 mg/day in the middle of week 3. I definitely feel 100 was the sweet spot for me. I really did not have any issues with this cycle except some lethargy but I will go in to slightly more detail below. I started this cycle in hopes of leaning up and keeping or maybe even gaining some strength as I had just finished a 9 week cut where I had dropped 16 lbs and had lost some muscle mass. Helladrol definitely helped me to achieve those goals. I feel I actually looked my leanest around week 4 because once I bumped up to 100 mg/day my appetite took off and I ate like a horse. Still I was able to lose a solid 2 lbs (208 to 206) while vastly improving strength gains. Only measure of strength gains was done the barbell bench. Before cycle was only able to rep out 225 lbs 5x while I put it up 11x this past Monday and I have not done flat bench in years (always do Dumbbell press). Did 85lbs dumbbells on shoulder press for 4 x 8 which is the most I have done in 5 years. I definitely leaned out in the middle and generally all over. I have not put on any muscle size but muscle shape and definition was definitely enhanced. Overall, a great run that I am very happy with. Money well spent.


Positives:
Excellent strength gains
Helped with leaning me out especially in my stomach and lower back (diet was solid but not perfect)
Improved muscle shape and definition
Improved recovery
Awesome pumps


Negatives:
Mild headaches during week 1
Crazy sleep during week 1
Increase in appetite especially in weeks 4-6 (this could be good or bad I suppose)
Mild to Moderate Lethargy from weeks 3-6
Pee started to become very yellow in last week even while drinking a ton of water (no other symptoms of liver stress)


Other Thoughts:
In my opinion Helladrol is perfect for those looking to recomp or do a mild cut or mild bulk. I went into this looking for more of a moderate cut and figured out its not really suited for that as a standalone. I re-tooled my workout and changed my mindset for more of a recomp/mild cut cycle and I was not disappointed. I will be running this again in late summer/early fall along with a mild test base to enhance the cycle and assist with combating the lethargy. I may even throw in some Orastan-A or 11-oxo.

PCT will be comprised of: Torem, DAA, Erase, Glycobol, Forskolin, and Lean Xtreme (see first post for all dosages)
I will have a few updates of my PCT along with some final pics. Hoping to lean up even more with the above compounds.

Wife had inpatient surgery on Monday so this week has been all screwed up. I have been able to get all my workouts in but people have been bringing food by the house and I have been eating in. Hopefully I can get back on my schedule next week.

No loss of strength yet
Weight is the same (although I lost 2 lbs on cycle)
No side effects to any of the compounds I am taking


Negatives:

best of luck man, i opened my torem today just to smell it, smells minty. do you wash it down with anything?
 
Yeah it is very minty. It leaves an aftertaste so I usually take it then eat breakfast right after. I have felt great throughout the first week. So apparent loss of weight or strength yet.
 
I appreciate it. Pics do not go it justice. I definitely lean up a ton and strength shot up in weeks 4-6.
