Well, I have decided to run my first log. I haven't been here or AM for long but I have met some cool people and learned some great things.

I know this is early to start the log but I have a busy weekend so what the heck. My training will begin Monday and the cycle will begin Tuesday. I am getting some pre cycle blook work done on Tuesday morning.

Brief Training Background: I have been a basketball player my whole life so I stayed super lean w/o much other effort. I didn’t start weight training until I was 19-20. And like everyone else, I made really fast newbie gains. But as time went on, and I got older, my newbie gains disappeared and my progress stopped. My diet was garbage and my training then slacked off. Long story short, between that and graduating college, I just didn’t have the time or dedication to make the progress I needed. Sooo, on Jan 1st, I rededicated everything from my training to especially my diet. I went for a few month just researching and researching and more research. And in March I started a progressive cut (also did a cycle of The One) where as of today I have dropped 15-20 lbs of mostly BF. I was 190-194 in March and now I am 175. I did lose a little size but I feel like I executed my cut well enough to where mostly BF was lost. I am stronger now than I was @ 190 so I can’t complain. Well, being over 6’0, 175 is too light. I now need to put on mass. And now with my diet and training knowledge, I feel like I am fully prepared to do that.

Current Stats:
6’0 ½ - 175lbs – BF=Heck if I know!

Cycle Dosing: Epidrol by HF and P-Plex by CEL. I will be doing a bridge here. I know this is considered a stronger cycle but I am fully prepared and knowledgeable enough to run it. I have a good ear to my body so if I feel something doesn’t feel right or I feel shutdown for too long, I will adjust appropriately.
Epi: 30/40/40/50/0/0
P-Plex:0/0/20/20 maybe 30/30/30

Other Supps:
Multi by AN
Omega Essentials by AN
NOW Vitamin C + NOW Vitamin B
Sesamin
Cycle Assist by CEL ( I may not run this since I have preloaded for 2/3 weeks.)
Black Hole by CL
BC+EAA by LG Sciences
NEOVAR By AN
ALCAR
RPM by AN (if needed)
Hemodraulix (I only have a few left but I won’t be re stocking this. But you can bet I will be running this in PCT. Killer pumps!
Tons of other stuff I am forgetting but the above is the bulk of it.

PCT:
As crazy as this sounds, I’m still up in there air here. Let me explain, I have plenty Nolva, 2 bottles of T-911, Formasol, Sustain Alpha, etc. I have all that I need for PCT, but I haven’t decided my dosing yet as well as what I will be using. At the moment, I am leaning towards this:
Nolva @ 20/20/10/10 + Sustain Alpha + Toco 8 + IGF-1, +Drive. I don’t really like the idea of an AI post cycle for this. Both Epi and P-Plex will not aromatize so why drop estrogen as soon as PCT starts? The main issue with this cycle will probably be delayed gyno so I don’t want to suppress E too low for too long. BUT, like I said, I have plenty Nolva, AI’s, and other things that I would need. So I am fully prepared for any surprises.

Diet:
Having dropped the BF I did on my CKD diet, I have a newfound respect for keeping carbs to a minimum. I should never have more than 250 a day. And even less on training days. I do NOT slack on my diets so this is one thing I can guarantee will not suffer.

Pre W/O
3 whole eggs w/ 3 egg whites
1 Piece Ezekiel Bread
1 Cup Oatmeal w/ Skim Milk
Bannana

Intra W/O
ALCAR + BCAA

Post W/O
Whey shake w/ Milk and 60g WMS

10:30 Meal #3
Whey w/ Skim Milk

Lunch Meal #4
6-8 oz Chicken breast w/ ½ cup brown rice

3:00 Meal #5
Either WW wrap and chicken salad or same as meal 4.

Dinner Meal # 6
8oz red meat or fish w/ green veggies. Probably asparagus.

Before Bed Meal #7
Myofusion w/ water

Rough macro count: Protein =300 CHO=233 only on W/O days Fat=78
As I said, the pre and post workout meal will only be on Mon,Wed, and Fri. All the other days my CHO intake will be lower.

Training:
This is what I am most excited about. I will be starting DC training on Monday. I have always been intense with my workouts so this is why DC intrigued me. My split will look like this. (Metroba, can you take a look at this and let me know what you think?)

Workout A:
Chest, Shoulders, Tri’s, Back Width, Back Thickness
Workout B:
Bi’s, Forearms, Calves, Hams, Quads.

Exercises:
Chest: Incline Smith Press/BB Bench Press, BB Slight Incline w/ wide grip press ( I got this from DC) Figured I’d give it a try?
Shoulders: Machine Military Press, Front EZ Bar Raises, Smith Press (in front of head)
Tri’s: Machine Pulldown, Reverse Grip Smith Press, EZ Bar Skull Crushers
Back Width: Lat Pulldown, Rack Chins, Straight Arm Pushdown on Machine
Back Thickness: Deads, BB Rows, and either rack deads or DB rows.
BI’s: EZ Bar Curls, Incline DB Curls, Cable Curls.
Forearm's: Hammer Curls, Reverse Grip EZ Bar Curls, Rev Grip DB Preacher Curls.
Calves: Standing calf raise, Sitting Calf raise, close toe standing calf raise
Hams: Seated Leg Curls, Standing Leg Curls, Lying Leg Curls or ??
Quads: Smith Squats, BB Hack Squats (Yes IC, As goofy as I looked trying these for the first time with you, I will try them again) Powertech Machine Squats (feet close together)

If you know how DC works, then that’s how my routine will look. If you don’t, then oh well because I don’t know how to properly explain lol.

Goals and Other: I would consider this cycle a success if I can put on a good 15 lbs of LBM and minimal fat. I don’t believe in a “dirty bulk” so this will be as clean as possible. If I start putting on fat, I will adjust. If I gain 10 lbs in the first half of the cycle, I will raise my fats, not my carbs. To be completely honest, I hope this is my last DS/PH cycle. I would much rather go with an injectable test cycle but at the moment, my GF will not have that. I hope this will change as she does more research.

I am having pre cycle blood work done on Tuesday morning and pending anything weird, I will begin the EPI on that day as well. I will also be monitoring my blood sugar levels and BP on Monday of every week.

Well, I think that’s it. Any suggestions or comments, speak up. Like I said, it's my first log so if there is something you can suggest, let me know.

Oh yea, I guess I will be posting a pre cycle pic as well. :damnit:
I have no clue why my pants were so low, lol (no homo). Just ate dinner, no pump, and no carb load.

Looking awesome so far T. You should continue Cycle assist throughout cycle; preloading is to get your liver "ready" for the added stress. You're a little AN happy? All in all good luck bro, this should be sick.

Thanks everyone!

Yea, I may run it through cycle but I'm not sure. I just hate having to figure out a way to split up the dosage 4 hours apart from any hormone dose. Oh well

Yea, I think AN make great stuff!

Some things I'd change:

Chest: Incline Smith Press/BB Bench Press, BB Slight Incline w/ wide grip press ( I got this from DC) Figured I’d give it a try?Chest looks good
Shoulders: Machine Military Press, Front EZ Bar Raises, BB Side Raises I would do only presses for shoulders. They will produce bigger gains. Later on you can throw in some raises but that is a ways away from now.
Tri’s: Machine Pulldown, Reverse Grip Smith Press, EZ Bar Skull Crushers I would take out the pulldowns and throw in Overhead db extensions..this will give you most stretch in your tris
Back Width: Lat Pulldown, Rack Chins, Straight Arm Pushdown on MachineI would take out the straight arm push downs and do Pullups (weighted if you can)
Back Thickness: Deads, BB Rows, and either rack deads or DB rows. I would do db rows and not rack deads. Rack deads are good but I never really got much out of them.
BI’s: EZ Bar Curls, Incline DB Curls, Cable Curls. I'd do something like drag curls in place of the cable curls but cable curls will suffice.
Calves: Standing calf raise, Sitting Calf raise, and calf extensions
Hams: Seated Leg Curls, Standing Leg Curls, Lying Leg Curls or ??Lying leg curls, SLDL and Good mornings
Quads: Smith Squats, Hack Squats (Yes IC, As goofy as I looked trying these for the first time with you, I will try them again) and since I don’t have a leg press yet at my company gym, I will try to figure something out here. Input would be appreciated.Hack squats are the sh1t! They are great for quad development..just makes sure you go deep enough..no 1/4 reps..can you do reg bb squats? and since you dont have a leg press..I'd do something like Bench step ups with dbs in your hands w/ straps!!
Just some suggestions...you dont have to listen to em all but I think you would make much better gains with those inclusions.

Thanks Met, I'll change up my routine in my original post when I get a minute. I forgot about one additional quad exercise I can do. I have a the machine in this pic.

I cant decide if it would isolate the quads any differently than a BB squat?

Well bb squat is going to work much more than quads. Are you not able to do bb squats right now because of your back? If not, this machine will work just do a close stance for quads..ass to grass!! :head:

Yea, I can do BB squats. I just figured since I'm doing Smith Machine BB squats I didint need to do regular BB squats.

My back has prevented me from doing certain exercises in the past, but now it's all good and I'm ready to go. But I just have really weak legs because of the 2 year layoff.

smith squats by no means replace "REAL" squats.....

i think your right there....but rack pulls definately have their place....there's no other way to isolate the lower back and pull as much weight in the process....

This is true Mooch..and I agree Smith doesnt replace reg squats. Reg squats take much more to push up that weight. If you are going to do smith squats, do a close stance to better isolate the quads. Reg squats just take a regular stance.

I understand that. But I'm just saying I dont feel the need to do reg BB squats if I'm doing smith squats.
Smith doesnt compare to reg squats bro...its like comparing hack squats to reg squats.

Not really, I can get a spot if I need one though. But right now I just want to stick with Smith Squats to make sure my back can handle it. I'm sure it can so I will switch to BB squats fairly soon.

My new grilling machine..Char-Broil RED. It cooks with infared heat :food:

Yea, I dont have a power rack/cathedral at the moment, but we will be getting one soon. But my BB bench station is set up so that if you want to squat with it you can. Hard to explain.

No, it's a company gym. It's really all mine since I'm the only one who uses it so I'm in the process of adding more equipment. It's a lot more elaborate than a small home gym but it just doesnt have as many mahines as a real gym.

I really don't like the gym near my house where I used to w/o at. It's more geared towards older people. And to be honest, feel like my w/o would suffer greatly if I went back to a big gym. It's just not my style.

That being said, I am smart enough to realize that if down the road I feel like my w/o is suffering since I dont have everything a big gym has, I will be more than willing to go back. But I am far from that now. But sometimes it just takes some creativity.

Yea, I thought about that too. But this works well for me now so I'll stick with it. Once I get a leg press and maybe a few other small things, theres not much that I wont have that a big gym does have though. My dad is the owner of the company that I work for and where the gym is at, so he's the one who I have to persuade to let me buy more equipment for the "company"

Yea, those are cheap. That will be next along with the leg press. After that I will mostly be done I think. I'd like to get some different DB's but thats about it. Got any suggestions?

I will try to get some pics up this week of the workout area. I have to put the floor in tomorrow so it wont be until after that.

Not high enough. I have the select tech's by Bowflex but I also have the manualy loaded DB's as well. But I dont know exactly how high they will go. Still not high enough for DB flat/incline/decline press so thats what I need.

Yea, but can you freakin believe how expensive DB's are! They are the most expensive thing I need!

Well, actually I only need maybe 80lbs-120lbs so maybe not as bad as i thought.
