Is there any canadian who have order from C N W and know approximetly the average COD per order?

I made my first order this month and I had 20 $ of COD for a 60 $ order.

What is the best way to get my order to minimize shipping ( COD + Shipping)

. I just got an order in about 2 weeks ago. Was $5 for tax and $5for handling fees so $10 COD for a package marked with a $81.32 (ca funds) value. I just used USPS and it never got opened even though they looked at the included shipping/item list which had everything listed.
