Creatine

So I still have wrestling for the winter season. This is kind of preventing me from actually starting the bulking routine I had planned out. But I am looking in to taking some creatine to help me out. Im just wondering a few things. Is creatine safe for a 14 year old to take? When and if i stop taking it will my gains go away completely? Since creatine monohydrate makes muscle retain more water will I be just as strong as I was before just more filled out? Are there any side effects? How much should I take? and lastly... What kind should I get?

EDIT: also since the heart is a muscle would creatine have any effect on endurance?

many people will tell you not to do creatine during the season (sport) because of dehydration. You would have to drink a ton of water, besides that im not sure.

I would stay off of the creatine until after season. My friends used to wrestle and the sh!t they would end up doing to make weight was just depressing. You're better off not making it more difficult for yourself by adding some more water weight to you.

And, if you don't care what weight class you're in, go nuts bro.

That is a good question about the heart but I think a different kind of tissue composes the heart, could be wrong though.

After wrestling season, if you decide that you wanna include Creatine into your supplementation, then I would go with bulk CEE from NP and CreaPure. Personally, I've had great experiences with CEE in the past, however, I do not like CM. CreaPure is 99% pure German Creatine Mono. It's said to be the best and purest kind of CM you can find. It's sold at a very affordable price, too. I've tried very cheap brands of regular CM before. It made me retain so much water (hence, monohydrate), made me feel extremely bloated, and gave me some serious gas. CreaPure, however, shouldn't do this. CEE, on the other hand, made my strength increase and I leaned out. My muscles were solid. CEE didn't make me very thirsty. So, I know that it wasn't water weight. But, if you wanna start taking Creatine, then go with bulk CEE and CreaPure, both very affordable and effective. Wait until after you make it through wrestling season, though.

As for the heart; Yes, it is a muscle. We all know that. Before I started supplementing myself with Creatine (CEE, to be exact), I'd be able to run cardio before/after lifting, but not as long as I would've liked to. But, when I started using CEE, things changed. I was able to run, and run, and run. It was quite impressive, really. I'd originally be able to run for maybe 15 minutes before getting excruciatingly tired, but once I used CEE, I was able to run for about 30-35 minutes. I loved it. So, in a way, I'd say it does have a pretty good effect on endurance. Creatine, along with D-Ribose, help speed up, and increase the amount of, ATP production, which in turn, force feeds what you consume (proteins, BCAA's, etc.) into your muscles. I'm sure the same happens to the heart, as with all muscles.

With that all said; CEE and CreaPure. But, after wrestling.

That's good info right there dude. I'll definately keep that in mind if/when I cycle on to a creatine.

It should definitely help.

I plan on running a lot because I haven't been in the gym for months. I'm actually getting very anxious, but also quite pissed. I have to wait to start work, so I have the funds to keep my membership going at the gym. I really hate waiting on employers, but of course they don't care. They're doing their job and making money.

I hate cardio. If ever there was a necessary evil it would be cardio. I love that new nike commercial where they show all those people running. Storming a castle, attacking the romans, hunting a deer, etc. and then they show that dude trotting around on a treadmill. So damn funny and true!
