Ah. An interesting, while quite lengthy article indeed.


I'm not sure about it being 'revolutionary', but certainly gave some new strategies for diet.

Throughout the year, I follow a 6 week bulk, 2 week cut (low carb) diet program. This ensures that I gain quality muscle, while keeping my BF % at about 10%. A lot of my bodybuilding friends think I'm crazy for doing this, since "during those 2 weeks, i'm missing out on utilizing glycogen". But that article juz gave a good single finger solute to that thinking!

Being 'off season' shouldn't be an excuse to balloon out. The dinosaurs of past, frank zane, tom platz, Arnold et al would have bulkd up big time with oats, eggs & the such, not an upsized version of an upsized KFC meal!
