| Registered User | your meals look a little small. usually eating 4-5 times a day of small meals speed up your metab... try eating bigger meals maybe only 3-4 times a day. when bulking that's just what i try to do. i could be wrong and if i am i will be quickly corrected. |

| Registered User | i know it's hard with school and all to get in like 5 huge meals so that's why i say 3-4 huge ones. plus you dont weigh as much so i'd say for now that should work. good luck man. keep us posted on results and the exercise routine and what not |

| Registered User | try throwing in some oatmeal instead of cereal, maybe some bacon or sausage also? Frosen kind are okay. In school why not get a shaker bottle and mix two scoops of whey in it to be drank while your in your classes. PWO don't use whole milk in your shake, just use water- you don't want too much fat in there. (may slow absorption) Turkey is a good meat of choice for sandwiches, don't over-do the cheese seeing as your already drinking alot of milk (might give u bad gas or stomach aches).. Don't always need sandwich a tin can of tuna is good also Make sure u have natural peanut butter, and eat an extra PB+J sandwich (I don't like jelly/jam so i just go p-nutbutter) hope this helps |

| Registered User | MPfit. my family's not big on the jelly either. ever tried peanut butter and honey. honey is a great subsitute for all sugars in meals. just to let people know who dont. artificial sugar=bad (aka corn syrup, fructose, sugar in ingredients not the ones in the nutrition facts) |

| 814 | I feel ya on the shakes with water .. the only kind I can tolerate in water is ON Rocky Road .. but anyways just go for skim milk then! I've used that forever and it's always seemed to work just as good .. and tastes tons better.. ![]() I would make sure not to skimp on the meat (turkey is my fav)and maybe swap in lowfat cottage cheese before bed.. Also I would eat them up on wheat bread which your probably already doing, and swap in some old fashioned oats here and there .. I would definitely calculate your resting metabolic rate online (like here) and then give fitday.com a run just for a few days and make sure your a few hundred kcal in excess with the diet you layed out.. the numbers can catch you off guard and really help you perfect your diet! | Registered User | You guys are great! You've said all the good stuff. Turkey is great! Swap oats for cereal. It's a slower digesting carbohydrate that'll give you energy for a lot longer. Somebody made the point of having a shaker bottle with WPI during class. That's a great idea, I know a few guys in your 'type of' situation that do that. It ensures they get that 1 or 2 extra meals in. like red dog said, cottege cheese before bed is a super idea! |
