When looking to bulk, cardio should always be kept to a minimum.....nothing like burning the candle at both ends....do it on off days or after training...save the fasted cardio for cutting...

I don't do cardio... and rarely if I'm cutting.

It's all the diet with me.

I haven't ran for longer than 10 minutes in six months...I gained back all 15lbs I lost due to injury, and put on an additional 10lbs in 3.5 months, keeping my BF% low while never doing cardio..I don't think it's needed, all diet...Oh, and I still have a resting HR of 54

Just as long as you get your heart rate in the fat burning zone. Oh, and use cardio after your workout when your body is already in a fat burning mode. Twice A week is better than nothing at all. IT's not for everyone.
IT's also proven that weights moderate intensity does work better for fat loss, due to prolonged metabolic response for day even after your last workout.

that

I've never done cardio during a bulk. As Ubi mentioned, it's pretty much all in the diet.

I do 15-20 min cardio 2x/wk during maintence but thats about it.

I actually have started doing a lot of conditioning work lately. I like it a lot. You just need to eat more and reduce your volume in the gym slightly.

To drop 42lbs. for showtime, cardio has become my hated friend. Everyday for twenty min. minimum. But, I also took 1st in my weight class, from 204 to 162lbs.

I actually do cardio 6 days a week.

I am doing a modified westside lifting routine somewhat close to Beezle's (check his log).

I do weights on M-W-F, and I will walk 3.0 mph, slight incline for 15-20 min. after weights.

Tues. and Thursday I will do 30 min. on an elliptical cross trainer at moderate intensity.

Sat. or Sunday (depending on when I have done legs last) I will do interval sprinting, something like 10 mph at a 9% incline.

LEAN BULKING, in most cases, is achieved by low to moderate caloric surplus rather than excessive surplus. Unless you have a need or desire for cardiac conditioning, cardio, in this application, is only a means to offset excessive consumption, via energy expenditure, and counter productive, IMO. Like I said, if you desire to engage in cardio for the cardiac conditioning, more power to you. Personally, I would rather control my LEAN BULKING by moderating my caloric intake rather than offsetting the excess. If I'm going to engage in 60 mins of cardio I want it to be burning fat. JMHO...to each, his own...
The only reason I run is because it's required in my line of work as a Firefighter. B5150 Is correct. Lean bulking generally suggests (for me) about 300-500 above maintenance. Generally 350 above for me. It's very effective on AAS/PHs. And cardio also helps to keep side effects down for me as well.

Being a jiggly endo, Cardio is essential for me not gain too much jiggle during my bulk. SO I am doing 30 min 4 times weekly, and its helping.
