Bulking macros on calories

First off I know many of you just watch cals while others watch macros also. Which one do you do and why?

Also What macros do you use and at what time?

This is more curiosity to see what others do. ME?

All out Bulk: 35p/35c/30f Normally 3500cals (Normally 8 weeks at a time)

Lean Bulk: 45p/30c/25f or less Normally 2750 cals (ran this last year for 5 months with nice gains and ended with an all out bulk for 8 weeks)

Cut (not pre comp): 60p/20c/20f nORMALLY 2250-2450cals

Pre comp is my secret sorry.

i count overall cals and pro right now. i was counting everything for the last few months but want to put on a few lbs right now. i eat the same things everyday so i sorta have a good understanding on what im consuming

At least I am not the only one who eats the same thing everyday. I have a few variations, I change up from time to time. But for the most part I eat the same thing at the same time.

Everyday i have a "variable". Its something i eat that i have no idea on the macros like home made blueberry muffins. Then i will calculate the rest of my day like normal. It helps lift my mind of the dieting exhaustion

I plan on using a 50/20/30 this winter with most my carbs intra/post workout.

I'll be doing closer to a 40/40/20 here next week with the use of AP. It's really all I've found over the years that allows me to eat carbs and make lean gains.

Right now I'm "recomping" with a keto style diet. It's about a 45/10/45 with only carbs being pre/intra with weekly carb ups.

I eat the same stuff everyday too, weekends are the only time I may get away. Even the. It's only 1, maybe 2 meals.

I like your recomp protocol. I may try this next. Current experimenting with carb back-loading.
