Its good alcohol too, real ales, untouched and as nature intended, bull of B vitamins and trace minerals, not that over filtered processed crap or worse.. Budweiser syrup!

I make sure I dont drink often but I'll be damned if im not gonna have a beer when I'm hangin out at the lake or grilling burgers and watching UFC with friends. I wanna be a beast but I wanna enjoy my life too. Occasional drinking is not gonna ruin your body if you consistently make good choices.

I find the problem with drinking for me is not the night of alcohol it is the Hangover and the temptation to binge eat when hungover - I can find myself eating every bad thing in the freezer!

I'm sure we've all been there.
By believing passionately in something that still does not exist, we create it. The nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired.

after 3 beers no more cut yourself off. Its not about gaining weight its about putting poisin in your body and trying to lift and recover at the same time. Doesnt work out well

lol gotta make a choice. Lifting takes physical effort and think of the work it takes to make gains. You lift to make gains not maintain. Tilting back beer or liquor is too easy and takes minimal effort to erase and hamper maximum potential

Depends on your goals /life style.
I just hold back to ensure I dont put on extra weight, but I still make the party.
Englands got such **** weather, since the beginning of time we've battled the weather to get to the 'Inn' for an evening in the warm, drinking. Its frowned upon if you deny a beer, unless you're t-total...on duty... or ill lol
I will never be a professional bodybuilder, therefor, I drink!

so you cant expect much from the lifting aspect in terms of rewards but sounds like youve made a decision. I think here in america college kids go through the same pressures and choices. The ones who choose to stay sober make the better gains. not disagreeing with you cuz i or no one can make you change your proirities.

Absolutely, I dont binge on sprirts, alcopops, crap beer etc. to get hammered but I enjoy the taste or real ales (not lagers etc, i can drop that like a hat). When a beers made up the road from you, so lively, full of vitamins, tasty, its so enjoyable finding good pubs!
Its my choice, and my battle to balance :¬D Ive been really fat on beer... i felt rubbish, i now dont drink in the week as a rule and enjoy a beer at weekends... my cheat, if you will. Will i ever see 8 abs? i doubt it. Do I enjoy weight workouts, yes, its intoxicating in its own way and I still make progress people notice. Alcohol hates exercise, exercise hates alcohol... Im stuck in the middle :¬D Difference for me, I choose quality alcohol. If my real ales were alcohol/calorie free Id still drink it
At the end of the day you need to enjoy life too, if thats alcohol free, then kudos to you, but its not for everyone
