Morning Bulk Shake... Overdoing it?

My morning bulk shake consists of....

1 cup of low fat milk - 100 cal
2 scoops of ON Pro complex - 270 cal
1 generous scoop natty pb - 200 cal
1 large banana - 90 cal (?)
1/2 cup of oats - 150 cal
and some cinnamon for taste

Total calorie intake= 810

is this right on or overdoing it?

depends how it fits in to your overall caloric intake goal. are you exceeding your maintenance? are you gaining weight?

hard to say for sure isolated out of context. sounds like it tastes good. you can easily add half and half or olive oil to the shake for 2-300 more calories if needed.

Well my maintanence is around 3000 kcals daily, and I have been pretty successful the last couple of weeks by hitting right around 3400-3800 every day. When I am short, I make a second shake right after my work out. Only downside to my schedule is I can't hit the gym til about 7pm... :(

That's fine bro. Mine is for breakfast,

1 Cup Milk
Ton of Ice
2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
2.5 Cups Captain Crunch Peanut Butter

Other times of the day, I'll use water instead of milk to remove those sugars, use less PB, and subsitute captain crunch for oatmeal, of 1/2 oat 1/2 captain.

your shake is fine. if u are bulking and wanna add more cals, add in yogurt, ice cream and fruits.

Wait...What's the ice doing in there with the Captain Crunch? You blend this up or what?

bulking I do:

2 cup oats
3 cup milk
2-3 servings of PB
2-3 scoops protien

I think its ~1500 cal and that will keep me full till lunch without eating any breakfast.

I just gotta spread it out a bit, cause it can be difficult to have that entire shake in my stomach at once.
