Hello. How good a natty peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches for bulking? Are they to fatty? I am dong a lean bulk and dont want to gain fat that much. But it seems like thiswould work out good for me. Heres is what i am thinking.

breakfast 7am two eggs and cup of oatmeal

snack 930am bannanna or orange with green tea and a slim jim type thing small one

lunch 12pm buffalo burger(no bread) cup of brown rice

lunch again 130 PBJ sandwhich

dinner Im in college whatever parents make usally good though.

snack almonds about 18

then after my workout i take monstermilk which is 50 grams of protein (should i take it everyday its 350 calories each time)

i wont argue with organic PB, but i have yet to see jelly mentioned as a bulking staple. depending on the brand it may be full of sugar and HFCS. may as well eat a poptart or something equally useless.
i prefer more nutritious items, chicken/beef/fish/etc.
I'm about your weight, and i eat way more than you (with lots more protein). Hopefully you're actually gaining on that diet. you may need to take it up a notch.

peanut butter in jelly is a GREAT bulking food. Has complex carbs, simple carbs, proteins, fats; pretty much the whole package. Some key aspects of the PBJ:

-Eat it on whole wheat bread, no if's and's or but's
-Pile on the peanut butter, the more the better
-Easy on the jelly, high fructose corn syrup isnt the ideal bulker

Personally, I think that you need a little more caloric intake in order to see some real gains. Try adding more high calorie shakes/snacks through the day

I also use PBand J in my bulk diet. 3 a day to be exact!
-extra crunchy PB
-Low or NO sugar, (welch's) grape
-Oro Wheat (Pricey but optimal!)

i dont think you are eating enought. although that totally depends on your lifting and workout schedule. heavy lifting plus a lot of whole grain carbs and protien will do it i think!

PBnJ is the best, but i don't use peanut butter, instead i use raw, unsalted almond butter, its like PB on steroids(hahah). For jelly i use a fruit preserve (Sorrell Ridge) ingredients are fruit, fruit juice and pectin. and the bread is key. I use sprouted wheat with flaxseed(Henry's) 1 gr fat, 23 gr carbs, 4 gr protien, and thats per slice. you add the almond butter and fruit spread and its the best PBnJ out there.
