I'm a 'food first' kind of lad, so my first instincts are to tell you to get your act together and cook some meals!
However, I do recognise that life isn't always that easy and therefore MRPs/protein bars do come in handy every now and again.
To be honest, whilst pretty convenient, pre-made protein bars are very much like 'weight gainers', they're usually full of poor ingredients and a waste of money.
Some better ideas would be to:
1. Make your own protein bars, there's some great threads here by Aggravated and Joshua86 for a some recipes:
They'll provide all the calories and protein you'll need, save you a ton of money and are packed with goodness unlike some of these commercial bars

2. Make a protein shake/meal replacement drink, again here's some ideas:

If worst came to worst, you could even stick some protein powder (dry) in a shaker until you need it, and top off the meal with some fresh fruit and nuts.
Hope this gives your some inspiration mate.
