SyntheSIZE Log

What's up Avant and AM crew!!!! I thought I would start my first ever log here and post my results here at AM. And with what better product than SyntheSIZE.

It will be for 8 weeks. I will post changes on the scale and any noticeable body composition changes. I will not post everyday unless I have something to post. I will post improvements workout to workout though.

I have elimated all supplements that could "help" give me an edge or improve recovery. I want this to be a SS only log. I will keep taking my "regular" support supplements like:
Orange Triad, 6gr CLA, 3gr fish oil, extra vitamin D and R4W powder before workouts. Caffeine during the day will be eliminated to get the most out of SS.

Diet will remain constant throughout. It will be a maintenance type diet. On some days I plan on dropping calories just by 200-400 just to speed fat loss over this 8 week trial.

I'm 239 lbs and about.......20% bdoy fat and that's going to change!!!!

Diet:
Meal 1: Pro MR by DYA Approved, 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup oats
Meal 2: 1 banana, 1 ounze almonds
Meal 3: 1-2 sandwhiches with tuna, hamburger, chicken or turkey and 1 piece fruit
Meal 4: 1 scoop protein, 1 cup oats, 2 tbls peanut butter (2hours pre-work-out)
Meal 5: 40gr protein (usually chikcen), 1 baked potatoe or salad
Meal 6: 1 hour before bed 1 scoop protein & 1/2 cup cottage cheese

SS taken with meals 1, 4 & 5 on workout days. Meals 1, 3 & 5 on non-workout days.

Tomorrow morning, November 23, it begins

Took my first dose of SS about 30 min ago. It had a bitter orange creamsicle taste, probably due to the CEE and NAC.

Thats a detailed description of the taste. Nice work. NAC is a heavy bitter hitter for sure.

lol I know. The NAC doesnt seem to dissolve completely either. You kind of taste the little bits. No biggy though. It's something I can get used to. As long as it's tolerable, I just dont care about the taste.

Workout 1

Ok. First workout's in the bag. I'll post my numbers in a second. I'm not the strongest mo fo around, so the numbers are going to be low...

Back (light), bi's and forearms (heavy):

Dumbell rows 65 x 12, 11, 9, 8
Barbell rows 145 x 12, 11, 10, 8
Barbell curls 80 x 8, 6, 4
Hammer curls 35 x 8, 7, 6
Dumbell wrsit curls 30 x 15, 11, 11

Muscular contractions were way up for this workout! They were pretty intense for the dumbell rows and barbell curls. So much so, I felt almost weaker when I progressed onto barbell rows and hammer curls. It's probably the calcium and magnesium... I think I read somewhere muscular contractions are heavily governed by the amount of calcium in the body...can anyone confirm this or do I have it wrong??? Becuase of the contractions the pumps were really intense. My forearms were pretty vascular and pumped. I've always loved pumped forearms!

That's it that's all for today. I'm about to have some dinner and my last serving of SS.

It's cool to see some people are following my log. Hope I can keep er interesting and informative for ya!

Nice journal.

Yeah, calcium is heavily involved in muscular contractions.

Workout 2

Flat bench 160 x 8, 170 x 7, 180 x 5, 170 x 5, 160 x 5
Incline press 140 x 7, 6, 5
Puchdowns 52.5 x 16, 15, 12
Overhead extensions 40 x 14, 12, 11
Side laterals 15 x 19, 17, 15
Bent laterals 10 x 16, 13, 10
Dumbell shrugs 60 x 18, 16, 12

After my first workout my contractions were really intense and the same thing goes for today. Yesterday morning I woke up really sore - my biceps havent been that sore in a long time. Tomorrow I'll expect the same thing with chest - I know I workedit hard today. My muscles are starting to have a really nice "fullness" to them. I've had a nice pumped look since starting SS.

Today was another workout where I felt a little weaker when moving onto my second exercise for the same bodypart. I just want to clarify that although I felt weaker, my numbers actually improved in this workout compared to my last. Weird..

Quads heavy, hams and calves light
Squats 120 x 14, 13, 10 - went up 10lbs
Front squats 70 x 12, 10, 8 - went up 10 lbs
Lying leg curls 50 x 14, 12, 10 - stayed
Hyperextensions bw x 10, 10, 10 - stayed
Seated calf raises 135 x 16, 14, 11 - went up in reps
Standing 1 leg raises bw x 15, 10, 9 - went up in reps

Ok this was my third and last workout for my training cycle. Friday is my next workout. I will weigh myself then and give it 1 full week before weighing myself. I just dont see the point in wieghing myself every day or every workout. This was an improved workout from the last.

Like I said in my last post, I expected my chest to be more sore than usual from my last workout, and it was/is. It's been a while since my chest was sore for byond 2 days. SS reminds me of arachidonic acid in the soreness department. Pumps have been good.

That is why I usually have a serving at both of my meals before lifting.

Yeah.

I find that sometimes, even though I sometimes feel a little weak, the lifts I perform exceed my expectations.

I'd imagine this is not only due to the creatine, but also the calcium, as mentioned. NAC also plays a big part in that, too.

There are just a ton of goodies in SyntheSIZE.

And I've mentioned this elsewhere, but one of the much less talked about benefits of SyntheSIZE is its mood boosting abilities. The magnesium, inositol, and NAC provide a synergistic little mood boost in my experience.

Ditto and NAC kicks in really fast for me. I get a bit of physical/mental energy out of it.

How does NAC do this?

When I think NAC, I think Gluthione and anti-oxidant.
