The One for Recomp: calorie suggestions?

A buddy of mine is running The One largely for the recomp- high value on the thermogenic properties with some muscle gain. What's the suggestion for calorie intake?

He's also running HGHUp and Neovar while he's doing The One.

As Young Gotti said, even consuming OVER MAintenance calories daily whist on The ONE, you will see a recomp effect. As far as recommending a caloric intake - that would be very dependent o the individual. I have said time and again that IMO calorie cycling is the best way to recomp, and on The ONE, instead of doing 3-4 days lower than/at Maintenance and then 1-2 days above, flip it the other way around, and have 3-4 days above Maintenance and 1-2 days at or just below, and you should see a nice effect.

Unless he usually eats fibrous/dense carbs, have him add things like oats and sweet potatoes, with the increased protein synthesis bump up the protein a bit, and this will also help with adjusting the carbs, especially when using the hghpro (you'll want steady BG levels, spikes are not good in general, and especially if looking to spike GH levels)

keep fat's on the moderate end.

I'd roll with a 35/35/30 P/C/F ratio, and go with 250-500 kcal over maintenance on workout days and stick with maintenance calorie amount on off days.
